Anyone have this knife and the Kershaw select fire? Which one do you like better and why? Thanks.

I have both and I like this Shuffle better. My primary area of concern is backpack knife. I do a lot of hiking and backpacking so things need to have several purposes and be light and handy. The Shuffle fits everywhere. The Select Fire is just more of something that the Shuffle does for me. As far as fit and finish, the Select Fire had a wonky blade that took some grinding to make right and the magnet didn't hold the bits well. Uncoated bits seem to work better. The reach is pretty handy on the SF so it will make a great glove box/tackle box/tool box knife. The Shuffle is just better for my specific purpose. I've had the Shuffle over a year with zero failures, the SF a few weeks and I can't comment on durability yet. I will say the SF just doesn't feel right in my hand. Get both. What the hell. They are cheap.

Is it supposed to have a nub at the top (part of blade) when folded? Maybe to use your pointer to open the blade? Mines looks like a piece broke off.

Mine has a circular "nub" on both sides of the blade so you can use your thumb to open it when closed. If you didn't have those on the blade then it would be difficult to open with one hand. Hope this helps

What is special about the “special edition??”

Bottle opener is primary. Has phillips and flat drivers and has great texture for grip. Solid knife and pocket size. It's a Kershaw.
