Expensive but outperforms the cheaper options
Pros - it’s super easy to use, still feels like you are writing with pencil or pen on real paper. It’s excellent at converting my handwriting to text at the easy press of a button. It looks good and feels like a nice weight. It’s designed well and does exactly what it sets out to.I haven’t worked out all the templates and layers yet but it’s great to use.I like the size and weight of it - it’s like an a4 notepad but feels like a good size and weight. It feels like good qualityConsIt is expensive but hopefully time will tell if it’s worth it.

Perfect for staying organised at work
This product is a great bit of kit, I am a big fan! Perfect for taking notes, planning and organising work, and really love that you can import and export documents from google drive. Battery life is great, used it almost everyday and didn't have to charge once during the first week of us, highly recommend this product!

High Quality build
Lightweight but robust product. The packaging is very professional and protective. The Pro is very easy to use, simple tutorials and lota of templates to download. Very easy to create an excellent note, save and translate to text and then export. Simple to link to both Phone App and Laptop. Marker Pen is excellent and very realistic to write with.

Primitive junk
Contemptibly primitive software relative to Kindle, Kobo, & even some Chinese e-readers.Because it displays all books as PDFs, even epubs, it can take minutes to change font, font size, in larger books like novels. It WILL also brick your highlights and notes when you do so, because the highlight is considered an overlay rather than associated with text. That's when you can get books on it at all; the offline file transfer method refuses half the time, and the other half it will say it didn't work but then you find the book on the device. That's when it allows the book at all; with many, you'll run into the file size limit, which means it's a brick if you want to read image heavy books, comic books, manga, or anything like that, which is part of the point of both a colour e-reader and a large format e-reader.All remarks about these and the many other insulting facts about the state of the on-board software are met with by protestations that the thing isn't an e-reader; but it's marketed as one, and an ad describing it as one on Twitter is how I learned about it in the first place. It's also a large flat e-ink display that you can put books on. It's an e-reader.I would refund it, but the company didn't want to honour their 100 day trial promise.

Good writing experience but with some issues.
I have been using Remarkable paper Pro for several weeks now. I have an iPad Pro 13 M4 with Apple Pencil pro and an older iPad Pro 11 M1 with Apple Pencil 2. Therefore I can compare the writing experience on remarkable vs iPad.There is no comparison with the brightness of the new iPad 13 M4, which I am using with a glass screen protector and I put the magnetic paper like screen when writing. Apple Pencil pro has a lot of functions and using either the notes app or GoodNotes, is very good. But it is not a natural feel when writing. Remarkable Paper Pro has a greying screen, and looks dark even with the backlight on. While working on it inside, I prefer to have a bright lamp on the desk to reduce the eye strain that one starts to get after a while when focusing on a darker screen or a darker paper. But with the pencil pro, the writing experience is much more natural and not exactly like writing on paper, but still it is more satisfying than the iPad.I didn’t buy it because I wasn’t satisfied with the new iPad. I bought it just to use a tablet as a replacement for my paper notepads and more natural writing feel.To be honest, the hype about “Just writing and focusing etc” is more of a selling tactic. You can easily turn off notifications in your iPad to maintain focus. As for functions, it connects easily with laptop via usb cable and you can transfer files easily. Or email a document to yourself. You can only import and export as PDF files. Will I keep using it? Very likely, just because writing on wink tablet with pencil pro is more natural experience and I can transfer the hand written notes easily to my iPad and work on them more as I want at a later time. Why not 5 star: The screen refresh rate is annoying at times. the colours are ok but not really for me or those who just focus on writing. So why not buy remarkable 2 without colour? I didn’t see the remarkable 2 but the screen even though whiter was smaller and not as close to an A4 size as the paper pro, which for me makes a big difference.Should you buy this instead of an iPad or another tablet with stylus? I would say no. Because the comparison between this and a tablet like iPad or Samsung etc is not fair or sensible. If you are tight on budget then just go for Amazon kindle scribe it you really just want an eink tablet. Otherwise go for an iPad or another tablet.Remarkable Paper Pro is only for writing and taking hand written notes, nothing else. Only buy it if you want to replace paper with a digital tablet. And if you already have another tablet like iPad etc. The two in combination work really good and save a lot of time, especially when you are trying to organise your hand written notes.I would have given it 5 stars if given the very high price, the screen was whiter if not the brighter light (the back light doesn’t make much difference in the day, and comes in handy when dark, but I still use a table lamp) and if the screen refresh rate was not slow and annoying.Four stars for a very good writing experience.Only buy if you just want a writing tablet and have money to spare. perhaps in next few years the technology would start to compete with mainstream tablet. For now it’s just a replacement for paper, or dare I say, a posh way of writing. The other reason for 4 stars and not less is the fact that hand written notes are secure, with a pin lock on the paper pro. Much safer than scribbling important things on a piece of paper and then loosing it. For me in my profession that is a big plus.If you are considering buying

Great tablet
I had been searching for a writing tablet for a while. iPads were too distracting, so I looked into alternatives. After watching some YouTube reviews, the Remarkable Pro caught my attention. The build quality is outstanding, with a premium feel—even down to the included USB-C cable. Setting up the Remarkable was simple, and integrating it with OneDrive and Google Drive was seamless. I also love the screen-sharing feature for PC.Writing on it feels incredibly natural, which is where this tablet truly excels. The pen tracking on the Remarkable is precise, making it well worth the price.Overall, it’s a fantastic product and a great experience
