Easier on the back !!!
Very sturdy tool great for removing grass growing through paving slabs, driveways or general weed removal. Half the effort of picking, digging and shovelling. Also used to expose and lift stones in a recently cleared field prior to seeding with grass, again minimal effort and much less bending down ,use the tool to lift the stones out of the ground too !

Garden hoe
The hoe end was well made. The inserted handle was not at the right angle to hoe the garden. My husband shaved off part of the handle and also filed the hoe so that it was useable. It is now excellent. The designer was obviously not a gardener!

Buy from the seller in Birmingham because same item Italian companies have doubled the price .
Good product and service from the seller/makers of this product, service from the seller is very helpful and very good, only complaint is that the handle is made in soft wood, I don’t think it will last long use in wet and damp condition, I am looking for a new hardwood handle for this item.otherwise I am pleased with this product.

it's a peril to use this tool especially when frustration sets in after spending the whole evening trying to fix this useless to
This is a load of rubbish. I spent more time trying to fix the handle to the hoe than doing the gardening. Honestly! In spite of everything I've done trying to fix the handle permanently (including buying a club hammer to knock it in) it keeps coming loose after a couple or so 'strikes'. If anything, it's a peril to use this tool especially when frustration sets in after spending the whole evening trying to fix this useless tool and your anger takes over your better judgement. Why can't they supply the tool with the handle permanently fixed like you buy a hammer or even an axe is beyond me.

Disappointing quality for the price.
The taper in the handle socket doesn't match the wooden handle taper at all making it impossible to secure the head because it only has line contact. Pile driving the shaft on the concrete or hitting it with a lump hammer makes no difference. Sandpapering and fitting the tapers using marking blue didn't secure the handle. Boiling the handle and hammering it on didn't fix it. Drilling a hole in the head to add a fixing screw didn't work; it still comes loose. All of the above plus resin adhesive didn't secure the head. It comes loose after 5 minutes of use by a 70 year old man.

A brilliant tool!
A brilliant tool, and worth the money (well spent) ideal for earthing up the spuds, and digging out roots when preparing an old bed. This sturdy tool will last a lifetime! Excellent alternative to a standard garden spade.

Good heavy duty hoe
A hoe like this is essential if you have an allotment. Makes short work of any soil. I've taken 1 star off because the head keeps coming loose which can be annoying at times.
