Excellent product - easy to use, professional finish
Used for a Swedish princess cake for a special birthday. Looked amazing. A relatively expensive product but took the hassle out of rolling - great finish.

Exactly what I was looking for... almost
Being Scandinavian, I wanted to make a marzipan cake for my mother-in-law's birthday. I've grown up in Norway, where white marzipan lids are more common than the green marzipan lids of the Swedish prinsesse tårta.This lid was exactly what I was after - it is a good thickness, the flavour is as good as these ready-rolled lids get, and it is easy to roll out over the cake.To me, it is not a prefect product, as it is slightly too small for a standard cake (I had to build up an edge of decorations all the way around) and it is not as tasty as I wish it would be, but it is perfectly decent.It wasn't entirely clear to me that it was green when I ordered it, but this is my own lack of attention. If anyone else is wondering: it is green.

Very thin marzipan to 'cover' a cake
The marzipan tasted OK but I'd bought two rounds - and found that even those weren't sufficient (in my view) to make a satisfactory cover to a 7" cake. I'll have to return to blocks in future.

Once we had worked out what to do with this was an excellent product, pleasing to look at, easy to handle and good to taste. However , the instructions in Danish were hard to master and Google’s translation of “ put your locket on tartan “ did not help ! PLEASE could the importer attach a guide in English ?
