3750 Beginner Drum Set

Bought this for my two year old grandson's birthday. It's very well made and sounds good too! The cymbal is pretty loud but I think could be muffled if needed. I was not aware that the drums are not attached to the base. They fit into two holes in the base and can come out easily. At first I thought this was a poor design but it has worked out well as the drums can be taken apart and shared with other siblings. All in all a good value and I would recommend it highly.

This was a big hit for my husband's cousin's son. He turned one and he could play with it immediately. The other kids at the birthday party looked like they wanted to have a turn as well. Love the quality.

Well built, attractive design...compact.However, I returned this because:1. The cymbal is really clangy and harsh. Reminded me more of pans banging than a cymbal. (20 month old son loved this part exclusively, it is a pretty cool set up.)2. The thin sticks made me a little nervous for his age. *Son is under the product's recommended age of 3 years.*3. Very small for a 3 yr old, I'd imagine.Positives to note:1. Drums each easily come out of stand.2. Quality product.3. Kids will love hitting this mounted cymbal....if you're strong enough to take it, I salute you ;-)

Shockingly, the yellow paint on the heads of the mallets chips off immediately upon use, giving rise to fear (perhaps unwarranted) that the chips are toxic. The set is not as represented. The cymbal is on the left instead of the right which is counter intuitive. The drums are not resonant. . I was deeply disappointed as I was expecting a high quality little drum set.However it is cute and my 3 year old grandson and 9 month old granddaughter took to it at once. I wish I had read all the reviews before this purchase as there are warnings the set does not hold up and given its performance so far I expect tears and lamentations in the near future when it fails to last as long as I presumed it would from its apparently sturdy construction as pictured on the site.My initial reaction is that I would not purchase this item again. This product is well made and assembles quickly without tools. It is quite small for the noise it can produce, so keep this in mind. I like the idea of it being portable as well. My order was received right on time and made a great hit with a 2 year old. I found it to be a good value for both the quality and the price.

My son and I really enjoy this drum set! I was initially put off by the price but when I compared it to similar items I decided to take the plunge. The instruments sound pleasant to the ears. The cymbal is especially great. I think that's my son's favorite part! Overall very happy with the purchase!

Whoever designed this doesn't have kids. Everything is just a little too chincy to be durable with kids aside from the main table portion. The drum heads are thin, and one was loose. Too loose to have any decent tone. The drum sticks are going to break too. They are made out of dowels that are under 1/4" thick and I'm sure as soon as they get stepped by a kid would break. Good idea, bad execution.

A nicely made product of quality materials. It has a solid feel and is well put together. My 3 year old daughter was not as engaged in the product, perhaps due to the very simple sounds it's capable of producing, so your mileage may vary. I haven't seen a comparable product for this age group at this quality however.
