The product listing says "for heavy winter" but I found that when temperature drops below 16 or17 deg C, you need an extra layer. Other than that, the blanket is soft and comfortable and sufficiently large for a single person.

It is the best blanker out there in this price range. It has the perfect weight so that it feels very warm and feels good and cozy when you are under it in the winters. Grey colour is the best.
