I'm writing this review in the hope that you may find it helpful, as from my experience, I actually found pillow shopping sooooo hard!In the past when I've purchased pillows, (for myself & my children), on a budget as a single mum, I've only ever purchased cheap/standard basic/own brand pillows, & id never really thought about 'pillow requirements', or what qualities I would specifically look for when purchasing a pillow. Yet, for me, sleep has always been so important. I've always loved my sleep, - & still do!! I also have Bipolar disorder, so equally, maintaining a good sleep routine is so detrimental to my mental health, & so I try to practice good sleep hygiene as much as possible. So, i was initially prompted to purchase some new pillows for myself, as the pillows I had, - which I've had for the past 2 years, - albeit being very attached to them still, were so flat, - i mean SOOOO flat!! - so i DESP needed some new pillows.Well, I started looking at pillows months ago, & this time, id given thought to what qualities I, personally, would look for in my perfect pillow. I often start off sleeping on my front, then turn to my side, & i was particularly looking for a pillow which was adequately supportive, yet also very poofy, - not too soft, but i like my head to sink into a pillow, much like a cloud. So, with my specific requirements in mind, as to what i was looking for, I browsed LOADS of pillows‼️- here on Amazon, & elsewhere online, - on SEVERAL occasions, in my quest of finding my ideal/perfect pillow. I ascertained that I was looking at medium bounceback pillows mostly, & i read sooooo many reviews!! In fact, id been looking for my perfect pillow for so long, that a few times id actually given up, before starting browsing yet again.What i found, was that there were so many pillows to choose from, yet across the board, all of their reviews were very mixed, & i honestly don't think I actually found 1 pillow with only good reviews, - ALL seemed to be very average, or awful! &, i also found that, in general, - & which you will no doubt find for yourself, - there are so many different brands of pillows, & so many unheard of, & i also came to realise that, considering pillows are so important, & which we sleep with every night, - i couldnt find ANY specific well known, 'reputable' brand, which specialises in pillows, 🤯 - so, i really did find pillow shopping sooooo very hard!!The reason i opted for THIS Casper pillow, in the end, was because, during the entire time of my looking at numerous pillows, even though this pillow too, had mixed reviews, this was THE pillow which I kept coming back to.I think for me, this pillow appealed to me as it is designed for changing sleep positions, & particularly from sleeping on ones front, & side, & the design of this pillow is around the pillow moving with you, when changing sleep positions, & still being supportive, yet poofy too. As I said, even this pillow had very mixed reviews, & none of which were out & out 'great', - like pretty much every other pillow(!!!), but what i deduced was that, in actual fact, pillows are very personal to us as individuals, so this general 'mixed' reviews across the board, actually were in relation to so many different personal preferences, - which, when you think about it, & just how much everyone's personal preference differs, the fact that all if the reviews are so mixed, actually makes sense!So, i surmised, in the end, that i wasn't going to find THE perfect pillow, or THE best pillow, out of them all, & i had to opt on 'a' pillow, with the hope of finding my perfect pillow, - if that makes sense?!! & THIS Casper pillow, was THE one which I decided upon.For me, this pillow was ideal for my sleeping positions, was adequately supportive, yet appeared to remain poofy, & that of which your head will heavenly sink into, without being too soft. If im honest, the only slight reservation I had, which wasn't really a reservation, more of a 'not knowing quite what to expect' kind of thing, was that the 1 thing that was mention specifically, a few times, was that this pillow made a noise when changing position, & had been pointed out specifically, to bear this in mind, if you are someone who disturbs easily, & when you change position however many times during the night. So this noise was obv notable, yet I didn't really know how much/what to expect, in regards to this.Well. I have to say, that I needent have had any thought in relation to this 'noise', as it is THAT insignificant! - hardly ANY noise at all, - so don't let this put you off! Also, this pillow is sooooo comfy! - its poofy, & does have what i would describe as an airy type of feeling when your head does sink into the pillow, - which i think is down to its unique design, of being a pillow within a pillow, & well air ventilated. This pillow is supportive, and is perfect for front & side sleepers, & provides adequate support to the head & neck, yet whilst remaining fluffy, & at the same time, moulds around your head, in an adapting moulding type of way, which ISNT in any way like a memory foam pillow, - it is literally like a cloud, which adapts around you, however you transition from one position into another, during sleep.I do find that I have to plump this pillow daily, - its obviously been compressed whilst you've been sleeping, in diff ways, so i find it just needs that little plump, daily, just to re-circulate the air within the pillow, within a pillow, & restore it back to its FULL poofyness👌I am very pleased with my purchase, & feel that this pillow is very much worth its price. It really is a dream to sleep on, & makes such a difference. Also, prior to this I've always slept on 2 pillows, whereas with THIS pillow, I only need this 1!!I would deffo highly recommend this pillow, & would DEFFO purchase again in the future.I hope you have found this review helpful 😉,xx

This is probably one of the hardest reviews I've ever written.I had high hopes for this pillow, the innovative pillow within a pillow design was intriguing and I was incredibly excited when it arrived as it was the 4th pillow I'd ordered in my search for perfection.As someone who is picky when it comes to pillows, I was impressed when my new Casper pillow arrived in its beautiful box that quite frankly is too good to get rid off.The pillow itself came wrapped within a clear bag to add further protection, a nice touch.So why is this a difficult review.Well, once I'd removed my pillow from its beautiful box, I was immediately concerned that it was going to be another return because it was luxuriously soft to the touch - too soft maybe!However, I decided to give it a shot, and I was sadly proved right - way too soft.The pillow is super soft, and therein lies the problem because I sank right down as it offered little to no support and once again I woke up with a sore neck.But the story doesn't end there.Being a pillow within a pillow I decided to try as another customer suggested. So I replaced the central pillow with my old pillow and tried again - and WOW, what a transformation.All of a sudden I had a super soft and supportive pillow in one, that was perfect. The combination of the Casper pillow outer pillow and the replaced central pillow made me feel like I was sleeping on a cloud. Add this to the other properties of the pillow such as heat distribution and I had a winner.I also be added a Bamboo pillow cover to protect and prolong the pillow life, and now I'm sleeping like a baby - not a restless baby waking up every couple if hours but sleeping a good 6-8 hours a night for the first time in ages.And that is why this was such a hard review to write, because although a great idea, the Casper pillow fails to offer any real support to side sleepers like me. Yet, with the right central pillow it is truly amazing.Therefore choosing a star rating was tough, but despite its initial failure in being supportive I feel this deserves a high rating, but not full marks.For top marks I would suggest to the manufacturer that they capitalise on the innovative pillow within a pillow design by having a choice of central pillow.Because right now, it tries to be all things but fails as a side/back sleeper. (Although I can't speak for front sleepers here)But if Casper offered different levels of central pillow, now that would be a true winner because honestly that's the only missing thing.To be able to order your pillow with your choice of central pillow, test it when it arrived and be able to just return the central pillow for another firmness level would truly put this company ahead of all the competition.4 stars for innovation and creating what is almost a perfect pillow if they can just work on the level of support, rather than try and have one pillow trying to do it all.

I really like this pillow, my partner doesn’t. He thinks it’s too soft :/ I think it feels like a cloud.It feels high quality because it’s heavy.Plump the pillow every other day or else it will start to feel not so great, but once it’s plumped it’s great

Having had a foam-core pillow for the last couple of years I wanted to try something a little more premium that was likely to retain its shape better. When it arrived the Casper looked perfect- nice and plump and a good compromise of support and comfort. Indeed for the first few nights it was very comfortable and supportive. Unfortunately a month or two down the line and while it'll plump up manually, within a few minutes it's flat and lifeless with unyielding lumps like a cheap supermarket special. Sadly I'm afraid it didn't live up to the trendy 'designed by sleep specialists' marketing and promises.

This is my second of these pillows. A perfect night’s sleep from first night. Will never use any different pillows. Highly recommended.
