Doctor Who: Nemesis of the Daleks

Classic 7th Doctor comic stories
These are reprints from the Doctor who magazine from the 80s-90s and as the title says the main story features the Daleks a great set of stories I really enjoyed this and would recommend it to other fans of Doctor who.

The Good Doctor!
This is an excellent collection of Dr Who strips from the Doctor Who Weekly. In particular enjoyable is the excellent Abslom Daak Dalek KIller story! Why hasn't he been featured in the series?A fantastic book with fantastic nostalgic artwork!Well worth the money!

Engrossing Graphic Novel
At the end of 2017 the seventh doctor anthologies have still not been completed. They are usually alternated with collections that feature the current doctor so only one a year as there are only two anthologies published annually. This is a particularly exciting collection of stories from the pages of Doctor Who Magazine and it seems that there will be more volumes featuring this incarnation/regeneration than any other doctor.

Daleks. Chainsaws. What's not to like?
Seriously. Old school DW crossed with a 2000 AD aesthetic. The reprints from the Hulk don't sit that well necessarily, but they give you an idea how varied old Marvel could be. No sign of the other FHD (Foreign Hazard Duty - think UNIT. In space) story, unfortunately.

Left wanting more...
When I saw this was coming I preordered immediately. It's the first collected compendium which I have preordered. Not simply by the name(everything with the 'Daleks' has some value?) but I knew the story Nemesis of the Daleks, which was the sequel to Absalom Daak - Dalek Killer, but its sequel Emperor of the Daleks. I was hoping for 'Emperor' to be with it.Having received today I feel Panini have missed a trick. While they have included the Absalom Daak stories from the Doctor Who Weeklies of the 1970's but they didn't include Emperor of the Daleks from DWM200. The story is therefore unfinished!I'm sure the arguement would be that they're trying to release the stories in order of release in DWM. Most of the stories in this book refer to coming from 'Incredible Hulk' publication. Which would completely dampen their arguement.Bit at a loss and a bit dissappointed. This is not as good as other releases.

Three Stars
A mixture of good and silly stories. Shame as it had potential.
