Item was very easy to install. You will need side radio mounting plates to keep radio from sliding forwards. Side mounting plates will screw onto face plate with predrilled slots. You may need to bend off a few of the mounting points for specific vehicle. This worked great for my aftermarket radio.

The instructions did not list my vehicle as one this kit supports so it did not provide exact instructions. I looked everything over closely because I did not want the delay in having to return it. When comparing it to the factory radio I was easily able to tell it would in fact work perfectly. Just had to make sure I was cutting the correct tabs off. Check twice cut once kind of thing. In the end it fit and works great. Could be a little stronger, but I like overkill in strength so I'm sure it will be ok.

Got this to go with my replacement of the factory stereo in a 1997 Dakota. Followed instructions, fits and looks good, secures to dash as it should, and does provide the basic support to a single din CD player - BUT my only complaint on this...is that there isn't any securing points to the stereo itself...so for me, the stereo itself is still loose and can be taken out very quick and easy (if one wanted to), since it just slides in from the front and doesn't click or attach to the Pioneer stereo I got. I'm used to seeing side plates to secure the stereo to...so I'm going to give it a chance, but I might try to find something else that has sides to secure the stereo to and make it that much more stable (or maybe I might try to figure something else out with this one). But overall, it's decent.

This couldn’t be any more perfect, lines up great and is nice and straight, quality of plastic is okay, I would have liked to see stronger stuff, but I would use this with a short body radio for less weight on the bracket, but it looks awesome and OEM when fully installed with a radio!

Top left tab is said to be for 2000 dodge caravan does not have a place to insert on car. Granted, my vehicle is a 2000 dodge grand caravan. Minor difference. However, besides that, I am very happy and got what I paid for!

Kit arrived in sealed bag but all pictured parts were not included. Since the "double knob" plate was not needed, no problem. But didn't include spacers to give option of flush mount which may of aesthetically looked better.Directions were straight forward as to which parts needed to be removed. Still worked,looks OK and was a good value,$5-10 less than box stores.Installed "97 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

it fits, i had to use a knife to modify it beyond what is called for in the instructions though

Excellent quality of item

It works but be aware that you have to cut off the majority of the tabs, leaving only the ones that are for mounting to your vehicle and its a fair bit of cutting and filing to get everything cleaned up. I never would have bought it if I knew what is involved. Do yourself a favour skip this "universal" adapter and buy one that is purpose made for your vehicle.
