EDC29 6500 Lumen Ultra Slim High Performance EDC Flashlight with Retractable Keychain

Bought one at the behest of a friend who loves them. Great light, but I had a few issues. It worked fine for the first week, I was using it a lot. Evening walks in the near dark, looking for things in the garage or basement. But the run times didn't quite work out even with full charge. also, after a few weeks, I would get intermittent flickering in 100 Lumens mode. I chalked it up to getting hot over several minutes, and it would only do it occasionally, but still a concern when I wanted continuous lighting. I recently purchased a EDC 37, which is awesome. Don't let the concern I had stop you from purchasing the EC 29. It IS a great light with awesome setting options. I work at a major car company, and we produce FAR more problematic products that Nitecore ever will. Still will be looking to add to my Nitecore collection in the future s my old 15 year old off brand flashlights are slowly dying and need replacement.

Amazing features and performance in a small package. Great OLED display. The slide lock switch works great. So powerful it probably could start a fire. Insanely bright. The strobe function is dizzying. You can set the functionality to suit your needs--one press of the tactical button gives you either the strobe or the 6500 lumens steady light. A simple half-press of this button always keeps the 3500 lumen searchlight available. You can check the output level before activating the light. It remembers your previous setting so you don't have to cycle through them all. Instant access to both the highest and lowest settings is really handy. Great tactile features. The output sensor prevents accidental burns and battery drain. My only complaint is that the battery cannot be replaced. It seems like this unit was designed after extensive research with first-responders. Simply amazing.

This light rocks! It's bright, it's tactical, it's practical...... retired LEO here, this light is FUNCTIONAL. It takes up less pocket space than a tube light. It's got everything you could possibly want in a light and more. You know exactly how much juice you've got in the tank at all times. No unexpected outrages. I love this light.

Very bright. Great size. Second flashlight of the same kind. First one the button stopped working to change brightness. Now on the replacement I can’t turn the flashlight on due to the same button. Have reached out to nitecore to see if they will help. Will update the outcome if the do. At the moment it’s an expensive flashlight that doesn’t work. Update as of 10-17-25 Have had two of these do the same thing as far as the power button stop working. Luckily the company stands by their product and found a way that I didn’t have to ship the flashlight to china to get fixed and the Amazon seller is sending me another flashlight. Starting to think this is an issue with the parts used in the flashlight but hopefully the third one will be the charm. But thankful the company and their product support take care of their customers.

I keep this in my pickup 24/7, I have equipment and properties to inspect, unforunately sometimes I find the time only during the night. This flashlight is crucial as It allows me to observe details from very far away due to it being so bright. Apart from its turbo feature, its other modes I use consistenly when doing field repairs, the light lasts an extremely long time on its lower power settings so much so that I've never had to worry about it dying, that lone is worth its weight in gold. overall a great tool that I'd recommend to anyone who is looking to purchase and everyday carry light.

This is the second nitecore flashlight I’ve bought. The first one stopped working after a few months, the raised button stopped working with the deep click to turn on and off. I figured maybe that one was just defective. I bought this one which was a newer model would be better, but nope same issue again and it failed even faster than before. When the buttons work it’s great, but having to sit there and deep click it over and over to try to get it to turn on is really annoying given the amount of money I had to pay for these. Same button on both versions going out is poor quality control. DO NOT BUY!!!

It's a great light I was working out of town and had it delivered to my hotel got it the next morning what a lifesaver

Love this light! It’s a little big for everyday use in the pocket but it’s super bright for the size. I love it.

Best torch from nitecore. EDC29 ultra,does get hot on full power. Good battery life and worth the cost

見た目のカッコ良さと6500ルーメンに惹かれて購入。 成人男性の手に馴染む大きさで結構ずっしり来ます。 TURBOモードは10秒も持ちませんが滅茶苦茶熱くなるので丁度良い。 液晶が分かりやすい。電池残量やあとどれだけ照らせるか時間表示なのも良い。 遠くを照らすというよりどちらかと言えば満遍なく全体的に照らす感じです。 夜の散歩なら100、400ルーメンもあれば十分。 欠点は防水防塵が少し弱いかな？ 兎に角カッコ良いので買って良かったです(^^)

Bought it, but before watched some videos about it on "youtube" about cons and pros. Realy happy with it. Solid, good materials, very bright light, shape is good for the pocket, just don't dive with it - is not waterproof.

Increíble lo que alumbra. Hace de día una montaña entera por la noche. Hay que tener cuidado de guardarla bloqueada en la mochila, porque el botón turbo hace que se caliente mucho y podría llegar a provocar un susto si hay algo que arda fácil junto a ella

Super kleine, leichte aber extrem helle (im Turbomodus) Taschenlampe. Für die schnelle Abwehr eines "Angreifers" um die Augen zu blenden perfekt geeignet. Aber auch so mit den Leuchtmodi als normale Taschenlampe zu gebrauchen. Sie lässt sich mit einem kleinen Schieber manuell arretieren, was gut ist will man sie in der Jacke oder Tasche transportieren. Nicht billig aber ich denke es lohnt sich. Mal sehen wie lange der Akku über die Jahre hält.
