This is the most oustanding otoscope I have ever worked with while working with the ear!!!!!!!. Every mom and dad should have.one. Simple to use, yet professional to work with for parents. OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!!

#1 problem: the "User Manual" does not exist. The instructions for the extension cord were 5 times more helpful than the "User Manual" instructions. Didn't need that cord anyway. Worst guide ever with, tiny print, useless information.#2 problem: Claims that the SA160 were compatible with IPhone were deceitful because that particular Model was not on the App list. Cannot use my phone to see the target, so impossible to use without help. The ad was Very Very misleading! So disappointed that their descriptions can be so full of lies!

I love this Smart Otoscope! I had trouble figuring out the extension - the camera pulls straight out( IGNORE the knurled nut looking thing it does not unscrew )Line up the dots to assemble ( I couldn't find this in the manual ) Thus scope is like what the doctor uses. The Lens extention cable that allows you to examine your own ear canals while watching the screen and taking pictures- is why I ordered it . Also it's a Standalone unit that does not require apps, bluetooth , wifi or have connection issues!! So tired of everything going to phone and all the apps!!I had a completely blocked eardrum 1year ago. It was sudden caused alot of vertigo, nausea and numbness in my face temporarily. Very weird experience! If I couldn't clear it with the doctors suggestions they wanted to suction clear it & I have horrible memories of this as a child!! I tried for weeks B4 getting a wand type ear scope that really was hard to use in my small ear canals. It would barely fit into my ear enough to see my blocked ear scraping all the way in. All I could make out was - NOTHING HAD BUDGED EVEN A LITTLE . Finally desperate I got an Debrox kit and cleared the while problem in a day with continued flushing ;) I ordered this to keep an eye on the whole situation w/o irritating my ear canals, just to calm my paranoia. Lol. This otoscope has a thinner stalk that is easier to maneuver and doesn't scrap and cause abrasion in small ear canals . If you have small ears to look into this type of ostoscope is really much easier. You really do need to be careful also as this device could reach the ear drum. I wish this scope had a mount or tabletop stand of some sort to set it in - I still need both hands for guiding it one to pull my ear down and back to create a more direct shot ( like my doctor does) and the other to work hold & guide the scope. Prop it on a pillow and sit down to use this .. The brightness is adjustable 3 settings .. the scope can take and store pictures and video to look back at. Time and date stamping pictures is possible. They can be uploaded also for larger screen viewing. Once at safe place comfortabley , I can pick up the screen if needed. I do not to clean my ears with these type things but there are scoops included. The doctor doesnt even like to do this so that tells me don't do it plus it hurts anyway.. you shouldntveven becin that far pokeing around just look and go. Also it's really unnecessary. Some wax is good for your ears and protects the ear also it not as bad as it looks on the camera things are magnified so you have to remember that. Things are about 10x smaller than they appear. Definitely better off with hot showers and mild soap to clean your ears most of the time. The Debrox worked incredibly well for my blocked drum ...when showers and diluted hydrogen peroxide did not work. I was moving alot of gravel for days before this happened I guess it's possible limestone dust somehow was involved.Keep out of reach of children who might mimic use! Or play doctor .. Definitely not a toy ! I would order again 100%
