I got this for a hiking trip in Washington/Oregon. Originally I was going to get the First Lite merino wool baselayer hoodie but 1) it’s way more expensive and 2) the color I wanted wasn’t in stock lol. Anyway, I loved this for hiking/general travel. Very warm yet still breathable with a lightweight smartwool merino base layer shirt. I’m 5’9, ~195 with an athletic build, broad shoulders, ~38” bust/32” waist/43” hip and the XL fit okay. It was pretty loose through the middle but the shoulders were perfect and the sleeves were plenty long without being obnoxious. I’m sure I could have gone with a large but I wanted to be able to wear something under it comfortably.
