Used it Labor Day weekend! The food was perfect. We had several people inquire about the purchase. We fried chicken and fish and fries. We used a lot of Peanut Oil, unfortunately we were not able to reuse it. Easy to assemble

RE: UNACCEPTABLE Build Quality: The Motor Burned out the first time we plugged it in! We ran all the troubleshooting suggestions before opening the motor case as instructed, finding RAW UNCOVERED HOT-WIRES fused to the motor case. The red plastic caps were there, but no one had bothered to put them on! It blew our heavy duty GFI electrical service. A simple test run prior to shipping could avoid this. Contacted Amazon and Seller 3 days in a row without a response. The event is planned, and all we need is a Motor that works ASAP! [Updated] After getting AMAZON involved, the Seller did send a complete new replacement of the Roaster AND MOTOR. They must have tested it first, because there was charring on the outside of the motor casing. They rewired it before sending to us. I hope they go through their entire shipment from this manufacturer to raise the bar on Quality Control. AMAZON'S CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EXCELLENT! and we remain very good customers.
