So good! And I love the high amount of protein, no sugar, and low calories. Excellent taste and consistency. These are now my favorite protein bar.

This is honestly one of the best bars when it comes to protein per calorie. The fudge brownie flavor isn’t bad, it does have that typical protein bar taste, but it’s not the worst. It’s a little gooey, which is why I keep them in the fridge, but the crispy bits give it a nice texture. What I really like is how efficient they are. I can stay in a calorie deficit and still hit my protein goals. If that’s something you’re working on too, I’d definitely recommend giving this bar a try. As for the price, I feel like we’ve all spent more on things that weren’t nearly as useful, so i’d say it’s worth it.

If you're looking for a protein bar that is both nutritious and suitable for pre-diabetic individuals, David Protein Bar is a fantastic choice! With its high protein content, it provides sustained energy without causing major blood sugar spikes, making it a great snack option for those who need to be mindful of their glucose levels. What makes this bar stand out is its balanced nutritional profile—low in added sugars yet packed with quality protein and fiber to keep you full and satisfied. Unlike many other "healthy" bars that sacrifice taste, David Protein Bar is deliciously rich, with a smooth texture and just the right amount of natural sweetness. It doesn’t have that artificial aftertaste you get with some other protein bars, making it a guilt-free indulgence! Whether you need a pre-workout boost, a midday snack, or a post-meal treat, this bar delivers great taste and smart nutrition in every bite. Definitely a must-try for anyone looking to stay healthy without compromising on flavor!

I have tried these bars a few times and in a few flavors. I was initially excited as the initial receipe was high protein and did not have artificial sweetners or sugar alcohols. But they did change the formula so now it has all three --malitol, sucrose and Acesulfame Potassium. My GI system does not tolerate sugar alcohols well, so I try to avoid. But the worst part might be the EPG--the modified plant fat that is in the bar. It is modified so it can only be partially digested, which is why the bar has much less LISTED fat calories than similar bars that don't use EPG. But what happens to the part of the fat you don't digest? They claim is it NOT like olestra, but after a bar a day off and on, It finally caught up with me and gave me a lot of GI distress. The high protein to calorie ratio is because of the EPG, but consumer labs did a review and noted the ACUTAL fat content. I think the labeling is not honest. Given the change in ingredients, and that about 10G of EPG fat an cause GI distress (about one bar), throw in sugar alcohol in the mix, and I think everybody should try a different product with HONEST labeling. I won't be buyinig this again and I hope others do more research on the EPG ingredient. Maybe its not olestra, but stuck on a toliet for a day is not worth it.

These are expensive, but worth the price. They don't taste chalky like some other protein products. I've has three of the flavors and they all have been delicious. They are great for a post workout snack. Not too many calories, lots of protein, and low sugar. If you are looking for a crunchy protein bar, these are not crunchy. It's more like eating a dense brownie.
