It works well; the arm is flimsy and it can tip over easily, but for home use you can get away with it. I was going to return it; but just kept it because it does what is says it does. It has a therapeutic output that I did measured with IR metering; that’s a bonus that your getting a good overall panel. The 3 stars are really for the stand instability

This item is a red light therapy lamp that is on a stand and geared for all areas of the body. The lamp is quite sturdy and has a weighted base. It projects red light at 660nm, 850nm and 940nm which are considered a good range to get the most out of this therapy. There is an adjustable timer that will shut it off. There are 5 light intensities to choose from. Included are safety glasses which are really important to keep your eyes safe. This lamp allows me to work on various area of my body in a comfortable environment. I'm a firm believer in the value of red light therapy and really like using this lamp to take advantage of its benefits. I think the price point for this lamp is reasonable. Overall, this is an excellent way to benefit from red light therapy without breaking the bank. I am pleased with this lamp.
