FriscoSpices Duck Fat Cooking Spray

I discovered this spray in NE where it is made and fell in love with it. I love it for cooking meats in my air fryer. It doesn't smoke and makes my meat so tender and juicy while still being natural and healthy. 10/10 would recommend!

I have primarily used olive oil and avocado oil in my cooking, and recently came across a recipe that recommended this duck fat spray for smoking. So, I decided to try it. My first test was using it on a couple of chickens that I smoked. I first marinated the chickens with a chicken rub and put them in the refrigerator overnight. The next day, I dried the chickens with paper towels, I sprayed on this duck fat spray and sprinkled Montreal chicken seasoning. After smoking the chickens for a couple of hours, I serve half of one of them for dinner. My husband told me repeatedly how good the chicken was. This duck fat spray not only added flavor to the chickens, but it helped to crisp the skin.I also found that duck fat oil is a healthier option as compared to other oils, and can be used for roasting potatoes, steaks, roasted chicken, and so much more. Although I still use olive and avocado oils in my cooking, this duck fat oil has been added to my rotation when I want to crisp foods and add a little more flavor. Personally, I would recommend this duck fat cooking spray. Try it! I love this duck fat cooking spray. It imparts such good flavor to roast veggies. And it's a game changer for roast chicken. I turned the whole chicken upside down, sprayed it with the duck fat, then shook some freshly ground black pepper, and a bit of Lawry's season salt - then turned it breast side up, and did the same. The chicken was really delicious! I will definitely be purchasing more of this. We also get our ghee and beef tallow from Amazon, we've been very pleased every time.😊

I have purchased this product more than once and more often than not it has stopped spraying after the first or second use. The product works well when it works… But it is not worth the money if it’s not manufactured reliably to maintain a spray function. I store it in a cool dry place between uses and tends to fail after a couple uses at most.

This is a must have if you like grilling and smoking. Since we’ve started using it, our barbecue has come out better.
