I wear these for water volleyball, great fit.

My wife is an avid gardener but there are things that can become an issue to her arms as she works in the yard. Ants are her top issue. They tend to crawl up her arm and bite her. She has a bad reaction to this. Also, reaching into a plant scrapes her arms and pollins from flowers and plants that she might be allergic to can also become a problem. These sleeves are perfect for avoiding that.They fit snugly and let the fingertips stay exposed. If needed, gloves will easily fit over the sleeve. They are well made and very attractive to the ladies. A purple background with flowers and flying insects printed on the sleeves. They say that these are for women and men but I cannot visualize men wanting to wear them.. Not that the idea of sleeves is not something we would use, but the printed portion just isn't my personal style. Now, put cars on them and I am all in... LOL.She loves them and that is all that I need to say that they are a success.

Easier than suntan lotion, less messy, and reusable.If you love to garden but don't love the way the sun ages your skin, these are the perfect solution. I am naturally quite fair, but overtime can get a deep tan. Unfortunately the sum is starting to take a toll on my skin. I already wear hats in the garden and sometimes sunshirts, but these are a lot cheaper than sunshirts and go with whatever t-shirts you already have. The material is thin, but breathable. It will help immensely to protect your arms and the backs of your hands from the sun. They come with thumbholes to keep them in place and the upper arm part has a thin rubber band that keeps it up.These would make a very thoughtful gift for any gardener. I have a couple of pairs of these and intend to get more. Good quality and a good price.

The pretty gardening sleeves from the YPHCDO Store arrive folded into a tiny zip top bag.The sleeves have a pretty floral, butterfly ad dragonfly print on the polyester stretch fabric which is described as Lieca Ice silk. The sleeves have thumb holes (on the seams, so use or don't at your discretion) and a silicone anti slip banding at the top of the arm to keep them from sliding down.The sleeves measure a little over 5" wide and 19" long but the thin fabric is very stretchy. I'm not sure how well these will hold up against really heavy brush or pokey twigs and branches but they have a UPF 50+ rating so it will protect from sun, and provide some cover against bugs.

As my skin ages, I've been more and more conscious of the damaging effect that sun exposure can have on exposed areas. These YPHCDO Sun Protection & Cooling Gardening Sleeves are a great solution that I can quickly slip on my arms during the warmer months when going outside to work in the yard, visiting with friends & clients, and/or attending outdoor events.While the fabric is lightweight, it feels sturdy. I'm not certain it can withstand the rigors of cutting & moving branches & brush, but I do think the fabric is durable enough to last a season of gardening, or several seasons of recreation wear. Since dragonflies are my thing, I really love the purple print pattern on these sleeves!The sleeves are well-designed, utilizing thumb holes at the wrist ends & sticky strips at the bicep ends to keep the sleeves from riding up or sliding down the arms during use. The fit is snug, yet comfy, and the fabric is definitely cooling. Now that autumn & cooler weather has arrived in my area, I won't be getting much use out of these YPHCDO Sun Protection & Cooling Gardening Sleeves this year, but I'm really looking forward to late spring next year when I can really put these sleeves through their paces!

These sleeves are so beautiful! The fabrics is lightweight and so smooth on the skin. They feel cool on your arms. I have to wear arm protection in the sun, since my arms bruise easily. These are so pretty, I don’t mind wearing them.They are made well, and stay up on my arm without a problem. I love the anti-slide elastic bands.I’ve never had those before, and they are very nice.They fit very well, and are so comfortable.They do what they need to do, and function very well for me. 😀

I’m looking forward to using these arm sleeves when gardening and pruning. They are very lightweight and fit quite well, and the elastic edge doesn’t pinch or grip real tight, but stays very secure. The sleeves extend quite long on the arm, and nearly reaches my underarm (I’m short). The graphic design on the fabric is fun. I think this would make an unexpected and appreciated gift for any gardener.
