That is a great deal.As far as function, they have a 2 step ignition for safety (slide to power, press a second button to activate). The power also turns off after about 12 seconds of inactivity, preventing accidental ignition (see video). LED lights indicate remaining charge. Does not feel like cheap plastic- the handle is very sturdy. The gooseneck can bend and hold at 180°, then return to straight with no problem. The black and chrome colors look sharp.I used them to light candles on a birthday cake as soon as I received them and they easily lit the candles. I also tested the plasma arc with other flammable items and it burned through most items with ease.Definitely going on my Christmas gift list this year. Very useful, safe, and frankly cool product.

Very handy to have around.Only major negative for the price point is the design of the electrodes. Unlike the Zippo-style electric lighters where the electrodes point up, these point toward each other, meaning that generally you can only light what you can fit in between the jaws.

This thing is very cool. I am a bit of lighter collector. I have a fire kit used for camping and backyard BBQ. I collect all things fire starting. Bow drills, flint and steel, fire pistons. In this kit, zippos, and butane lighters of every kind. OK, a little strange, but it's one of many 'kits'.This is the first lighter I have owned that needs no fuel. The charge lasts a very long time so it seems, in practice, to be a fuel free lighter. This would be in contrast to fluid based lighters that will go dry after a short time even if they haven't been used.This lighter works great. I light the charcoal chimney with it, I start the fire pit with it, and start the butane stove. It worked just as well as a flame based lighter. This was pleasant surprise to me. Fully wind proof, there is no flame to put out. I can think of no way to improve on that.What's more, the price for this lighter makes a it a full on stand out. "At this price", I thought, "why wouldn't I give it a try?"

This candle lighter is perfect. It can reach all the way down in my biggest candles. No more soot on my hands. It came fully charged and ready to go. There is a double on switch. On for safety then a button for lighting.

I normaly don't write verbose reviews but this item is all I will ever buy again. I wanted a lighter that was not disposable or needed refuels from butane I had to buy again. Anyway I had to Buy, Buy, Buy. This item recharges vis USB-C and is a plasma flame - almost as hot as the surface of the Sun. You heve to be bery precise where you aim it. It's not an incoherent flame that covers a wide distance. It's a narrow reaction between two electrodes. Used with care I do not see this proct expiring anytime soon. Everything fails eventually, but this is designed for longevity, ease of use, and cost savings. It will be a while before I need to make another purchase.
