My dogs have both had serious health problems. I wanted to find anything that I think might help them. After learning about Manuka honey, I decided to try this brand first. I haven't noticed any major changes in my dogs' health. However both of them love this. This is probably the best supplement that they have ever tried. I love the potential benefits for my dogs. I have been trying to figure out what their dosage should be. Neither of them has had any negative results from this. The only problem that I had with this is the fact that it was nowhere near full. It was around 3/4 full. I am not exaggerating. This is not a product that doesn't settle during shipment. The safety seal was also not stuck permanently to the top. I ordinarily would not use something that way for myself, but my dog has cancer and I wanted to get him healthier as soon as possible. I think that this is worth trying. I also would recommend this to anyone just because of the potential.

I use this on my mare for her sweet-itch. (AL summers). This summer has been her worst case, and quite scary at first. Along with Dex, SMGs & Zyrtec this “UMF 20+” Manuka Honey was worth the cost. Her scratching wounds began healing overnight and three days later the sweet itch was under control. I had a daily ritual of oatmeal bath, icing legs, picking scabs and applying manuka 20+. The consistency is medium thickness and I apply with hands or 1” paint brush. Very sugary, and she gets to lick my hands when I am finished. She wears the Shires sweet-itch sheet at night. I have fans blasting in her stall.Value is worth its weight in gold. I am on my second bottle, and can now use it as a maintenance so I won’t be using up as fast.Hope this helps.

This might be great honey but I'm afraid to try it as the safety seals on all six jars failed. I ordered so many because the confluence of a 10% off coupon and the 10% subscribe and save made it appear to be a great deal, even though the jars are, rather deviously imo, .9 oz smaller than the standard 250ml Manuka jars. Manuka honey has a long shelf life and these expire some time in '27.When I opened the box I was greeted by a sticky mess, every jar had honey all over it. I had opted for slower shipping so that it would not arrive on a really hot day, and they were cool to the touch, so I have no idea what happened. I'm guessing whatever apparatus applies the safety seals failed on this batch (other reviews show that I'm not the only one to receive leaky product). I removed the plastic cap from each jar hoping for some keepers but all were sticky with leaked honey.I was able to get a refund after 45 minutes on the phone with customer support but the waste really bothers me. It would also be nice if there were a way to deal with such situations online, food items are generally eligible for refund or exchange, but the only button on the order page is "return." D'oh!The honey had sold out by the time it was delivered, but I doubt I'd have been brave enough to order replacements given Steens' QC track record...

This honey is the best out there in my opinion. The taste isn't like traditional honey, but it's really good. The price isn't for the faint of heart. The possible health benefits make it worth the cost.
