This thing is a game changer for metal detecting. It’s lightweight, easy to carry, and super accurate when zeroing in on stuff. The sensitivity’s on point, saves me from digging around like crazy. Feels tough too, not some cheap plastic that’s gonna break. Using it is a no-brainer, just click it on and go. Battery holds up well, so I’m not swapping it out all the time. Already pulled a couple coins I would’ve totally missed without it, so yeah, it’s worth it.

Bought this to find a tungsten wedding band with a diamond lost in high grass. The wedding band would cost $500 to replace besides the sentimental values. For the price, this metal detector seemed like a good deal. I had searched for the band for over an hour without success. My grandson lost a small metal car in the mondo grass also that could not be found. There was some question whether metal detectors would even detect tungsten. In about 10 minutes I found both! I can say with certainty that this device will pick up tungsten. Very happy with my purchase. Who knows, I may get into the metal detecting hobby.

Haven't really tried it 100%. Works good on metal, but weak on detecting gold. The tip has to literally be touching the gold to sound and alert and sometimes its silent.

Pretty neat inexpensive hand held metal detector. I liked it, but wanted to save my back so I made a 3d printed holster for it that a regular broom handle or paint stick will screw into. I put it on MakerWorld. Search for "Pancky Handheld Metal Detector BroomHandle Adapter". It's free.

We love hunting for treasures while camping and this is the perfect thing for my family. It’s easy to use, built well and comes with a belt clip. Waterproof!

I haven’t used this to find micro metals but coin size things it seems to work down to about 8”s

I did a comparison test with 3 other brand name pinpointers. First of all, only one out of the four pin pointers was able to detect gold from about an inch away, all the other ones, including the panky, would not detect gold jewelry unless it was touching the pin pointer. The only real downside I noticed on the panky pin pointer was the fact that it was very susceptible to interference.And it also created interference with my metal detector. All in all, I would say it's a good pin pointer. If you're getting Into detecting for the first time or if you're teaching a young one, how to metal detect.
