🌿 Nature's Pest Control Heroes Await!
Native Ladybirds (Adalia bipunctata) are a natural solution for aphid and pest control in gardens and greenhouses. Available in packs of adults or larvae, these beneficial insects are shipped with food and are ready to be released directly onto infested plants. Each ladybird can consume up to 5,000 aphids, promoting a healthier garden ecosystem.

Great work
All ladybirds came alive and in a good condition. I put them in a garden around 4pm and they started eating green flies immediately. Next day I only noticed 2ladybirds on my climbing rose. Later on I couldn't see any ladybirds but I looked like there was less and less aphids everyday. It took them 3 weeks to completely clear greenflies from the rose. Now my rose is getting very healthy new grows without any signs of aphids.

They all arrived alive
All the ladybirds arrived alive and faster than expected, two days before the delivery date. I bought these for an infestation of aphids, in my glass house all over my flowers, I released the ladybird around the flowers. I did notice the aphids numbers went down ever so slightly, weather that was related idk. And the number of ladybirds I seen day after day was less and less as to be expected. I would say if you want these to release in your garden or an area to observe them for a couple of days that’s a great idea, however for pest control, not the best idea. For aphids another way to deter them is cut up mint put it in a spray bottle with water, shake it, and spray it around your plants. It worked for my friend.

Good, but no guarantee
Never bought ladybirds before so can't say if the price is good value or not. Recieved them quickly after order in a small padded envelope with a plastic box inside. About 4-5 ladybirds didn't survive the transit unfortunately. Released early evening as per instructions and was able to track a few for a couple days on my lupins infested with aphids, but after about 3 days I now can't see any and the aphid infestation is no better, sadly. Can't really blame the seller for the actions of insects though!

Well packaged and alive
I have blackfly, and fewer ladybirds than normal, so I can offer a home. They were well packaged and lively. The weather was drizzly, perfect if the beetles were thirsty. I released them near the food. A few days later some of them can still be found.

Great, but not if you have ants
The ladybirds arrived on the scheduled day and were in great condition. I waited until the evening before putting them in the fridge for 30 mins to calm them down and then released a couple onto a shrub which is heavily aphid-infested and which I'd just watered, so they'd have a drink. The ants went straight to them and attacked them, so I got a cardboard box, filled it with aphid-infested branches, removed the ants and put the box in the shrub. This morning, the box was filled with ants and some sluggish ladybirds. The ants were really going for the ladybirds and they didn't seem to have a chance. Some must have flown away to get away from them and I honestly wish them the best of luck! I feel really guilty about the others and wish that there was a super-ladybird which would fight off the ants. Think I'm going to have to put up with the aphids as I've now tried ladybird larvae and ladybirds and can't have any more of them on my conscience! It's a good product, but clearly not if you have as many murderous ants as me... :-(

Don't waste money for this expensive and useless product
I bought a box of ladybugs from this seller recently, they didn't appear to be in good health condition (maybe days of transportation hurt them).I followed the instruction about releasing, and I had a bug hotel in my garden. I have several raise beds grown with vegetables and roses (and aphids!). Unfortunately, after one day, the ladybugs were either dead or gone.Anyways, I felt stupid to spend money on this thing, because we later caught 40+ healthy 7-spot ladybugs easily in a park nearby. I also bought ladybug larvae before, which is proven more pointless, as the larvae died easilyBTW, there was once an Amazon seller who sold 1500+ ladybugs with very cheap price, no idea why the seller is gone....

Some success
Bought these last year and were pretty successful. The lady birds were a lot smaller this year and not so successful. More expensive too. You take your chance.

It might be the weather...
As a bee keeper, I'm passionate about natural pest control, which is why I opted for trying this. The delivery was prompt but sadly a fair few ladies were DOA (for which I received a refund) but the living ones disappeared from my fruit trees faster than you could say 'aphid'. I couldn't see any reason for this so tried again with ladybird larvae but that has been equally unsuccessful. It has been a few weeks since I released the adults onto my trees and no new ladybirds have appeared so clearly the adults weren't around long enough to lay eggs.It has been an expensive experiment, which would have been worth it if it worked but sadly it didn't. I really don't want to put people off trying this as we can't keep killing bees, and it may be that this batch of ladybirds / larvae were genetically weak - or maybe the awful weather had an impact - either way, as things stand, the aphids are winning the fruit tree wars.I cannot fault this retailer for fast delivery and good customer service - I just don't know if the weather or the ladybirds were the fatal flaw in my efforts.
