Easy & comfortable enough to sleep in!
Iâve never had the willingness to wake up extra early to style my hair (I love sleep too much) so to be able to put these in and go to sleep and wake up with beautiful curls / waves is an appreciated time saver. The instructions say to use damp hair, but at first use I learned my hair type doesnât like that and didnât curl. However, when I use them with completely dry hair I get the look I want.Iâd say if you have a hair type that pretty much molds to how you put it up (like gets wavy when you do a twist bun) use it with dry hair :)

They work, but do slide easly.
I found that these can take some getting used to put in your hair.Reasons for this is that the part you wrap your hair on is smooth silicone giving nothing for them to hold onto the hair. To work with this, I put the roller next to my scalp and wound the hair around the center till I got to the end of my hair and flipped it over. The other issue is that there is not enough breathing in the rollers to allow it to dry well, so if you use gel or mouse, it may not fully dry. These will cure your hair and it will hold if some product is used to keep the shape, hair spray, gel, or mouse. As for comfort this I found is better than traditional curlers to sleep in, however if you move a lot in your sleep they may fall out. Now this is to not say you won't feel them when you sleep.I like that they are flexible and soft. Please work on something that will hold the hair to make winding easier, and the ability to allow air to dry the hair. Maybe holes in the part you wrap the hair around, and some silicon brush to hold the hair?

Produces great curls
I have thin, fine hair. My hair only holds a curl when using rollers. Perhaps I should clarify, my hair only holds a curl when not using tons of product on it when I use rollers. As my husband likes to run his fingers through my hair, I don't like to use any product on my hair so he doesn't end up ripping hair out of my head!I had gotten a few of this style of roller with another product I had purchased. These work really well. The only problem (and I don't think it's a me problem, but perhaps it could be due to my fine hair) is that if you intend to sleep in these rollers you will need to wear a snug hair net or cap to keep the rollers from falling out. They are truly comfortable enough to sleep in. I've used them that way and with a bonnet dryer. They work well both ways.I was a little skeptical when I saw this style of roller, but they produce a really lovely tight curl. I use only a slight amount of hair in each roller as my hair is rather long. I don't think it would produce as lovely curls if using more hair in each roller. The price was decent enough when I purchased them that if I didn't like the result it wouldn't have been a major loss. If the price is still good, buy them. It's worth it.

silicone cup style curlers
Ok. I have thinner hair and it's short. Maybe you if you have medium thick, long hair you could make this work? I doubt it. These curlers are crazy hard to use and are terrible to sleep in. Makes weird, wonky curls. I prefer the velco curlers. They suck to sleep in too - but at least your curls aren't wonky and look normal. Mrs. Maisel Curlers!! đ
These work! They look just like the curlers that Midge and Rose use on the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel show and they really do work. I recommend lightly damp, not wet, hair for best results. There is a net cap included which was nice because it was very useful and I didn't even know it would be needed so that was very handy at just the right time.

Doesn't seem to be made for anything other than fine hair
So I tried these rollers out on 2 separate occasions and, in quick summary, I do not believe these would work on anything other than fine hair for a number of reasons. For context, I have shoulder-length, medium thick and medium coarse hair. I also live in a fairly non-humid region. Read on for more details, if intrigued... Some details:1) They're fairly easy to use without looking in a mirror (I was able to put them on while watching TV).2) They're not the most uncomfortable thing to sleep in - slightly better than the "plastic donut style" rollers - but still no friend to a good night's sleep.3) There is no way to get curls like you'd get from large hot rollers bc each piece only holds so much hair (unless you have fine hair) so you will end up with either something akin to just more volume with odd waves here and there or use so many that you end up with really right curls.4) Really tough to incorporate layered hairstyles bc, again, either you curl each layer separately (and end up with tight curls) or the layers typically come loose in some places and not others so the end result is a little crazy.5) Even in my non-humid climate, the volume (or curls) only lasted about 24 hrs. Can't imagine they would make it through a night somewhere with any humidity. In contrast, when I use the plastic donut curlers, they easily last 2 full days and I still have volume/waves on the 3rd day.Overall, if you have hair like mine, I'd recommend the plastic donut curlers over there, even with the slight increase in uncomfortable sleep.
