Excellent quality. I've been always disappointed with sharpners, but this sharpner is amazing. It doesn’t break the lead, yet makes the lead sharp. This is now my fav sharpner for coloring and drawing!!

So, I'll preface this by saying I bought the sharpener when it was $1.99, not $4 like it is at the time of me writing this. For $1.99 it is great little sharpener, it's simple, does what it needs to do and is easy to clean. I'm not sure I'd have bought it for $4 however.
