We've been using it multiple times a day. It's a great motivational tool. The kids think to use it and it's easy for them to do on their own. I didn't get the silicone cover, and I don't think it's necessary, but we're such fans of it, I'm tempted to get one just for fun and as a sensory upgrade. Lol.

I love this timer it helps my son and I manage our time blindness from ADHD and the fact it doesn’t tick makes it silent and very soothing. I also appreciate the small design and colors. I like we can turn the alarm sound on and off. It has taken a few tumbles and has not shown any wear. I think it’s price reasonable. It is very easy to use and I appreciate the packaging!

I use this for study sessions and the rainbow colors help me differentiate the time lengths and cut through challenges with getting started.

As someone with ADHD and SEVERE time blindness that's caused life-altering negative consequences since childhood < : - ( I rave about Time Timers every chance I get! Being able to SEE time passing has made a MASSIVE difference in my life(!), and I actually own several Time Timers for different needs, including a 2-hour one, and my beloved original 3 inch with the slot on top for words or pictures. ; - ) I like using the card slot feature (or a cute place card holder : - ) for reminders that my effort WILL lead to positive outcomes later since that's something that my brain has a really hard time remembering and is SO important for motivation. I LOVE that this new rainbow Time Timer provides a built-in visual analogy that there's a pot of gold (reward) at the end of the rainbow (effort)! ; - D It seems extreme to knock a whole star off just for the onscreen colors not matching real life, but as someone who has visceral likes and dislikes about color (I'm an artist), it was extremely disappointing to open a package I was so excited to receive and immediately feel deflated. < : - ( I'm sure there are some people who will like the actual colors BETTER than what's pictured online, but for me, the slightly muddied vs. bright colors of the rainbow and the Tiffany-like blue/green instead of the lovely light blue I saw online is something I'm STILL disappointed by many weeks later. Extreme, I know(!), but in case other people are similarly sensitive to colors hopefully this description helps. To the folks at Time Timer: I would love it if you embraced more unabashedly cheerful colors instead of trying to look "designer" with muddied shades. Also, it would be great if you paid someone to color correct marketing images to more closely match the colors in real life. Even though the colors rankle me, this is a BRILLIANT product I highly recommend! : - D

I ordered this because I saw an advertisement about time management for those with ADD/ADHD and visual cues. I have been working on small projects in my house recently while balancing regular home life. This compact timer has been so helpful in keeping me on track. I have been using it now for about 2 months and have not had to change the batteries yet. The alarm that goes off when the timer if finished reminds me to stop. It is simple to use and I have not had any issues. This is 100% worth the money for anyone with time management challenges when performing tasks.

This timer is great to use with toddlers. I bought the timer to use as a “helper” to transition my toddler from one task to another and it has been great! We use it before bedtime too and it helps with reducing tantrums! It’s colorful, easy to see, and the display is easy to track for the littles! All in all a great purchase!

First off, it's a great little timer that be and my son use constantly for measuring gaming sessions. You can turn the alarm on and off and everything is marked in increments of 5 minutes and fun colors so it's also helpful in teaching time and numbers a little bit. Three stars because it has an unfortunate problem that if you set it all the way to 60 minutes the purple marker can catch on the background face and get stuck, so then you've got to pop the bezel off and take the knob off to get the purple sheet unstuck and feeding back through the face correctly.

We got this to not only use as a timer but to help my child visually see how much time was left before something.

This is my second time timer. I use one for making sure I take breaks from working on my computer, and also for coming back from breaks. This new one we are using in the kitchen as a timer and it’s been great. We have the end beep on both switched on but you can turn them off.
