What are the differences between this and the 120sw?

The R-121SW has an updated woofer driver and a larger batter braced cabinet. It is able to produce a bit more bass and sound tighter.

When in auto position the led green light remains on even when the amp is off. is this normal?

The subwoofer should shut off after about 15 minutes of no signal from the amp so it will not happen right as you shut the amp off. If the sub is still not going on standby, there may be some noise coming from the amp or wiring between the amp and subwoofer that is keeping the sub from going to sleep. Can you use a wireless kit with this sub

You can use a 3rd party wireless kit that will connect using rca connections on the back of the sub. We do not make a wireless kit that will work with this subwoofer here. Thank you.
