Used for software development test purposes
Pleased with this scanner, cheap as chips and used for a development project at university. It is totally programmable/configurable using QR codes supplied in the user manual. Everything from bluetooth pairing to setting the formats (Unicode, keyboard formats etc.) is performed by scanning the appropriate barcodes. Just don't go scanning them randomly ifyour not familiar with the protocols as you'll probably then end up having to factory reset the scanner! No issues scanning codes used through a wired connection mostly.

Works Well
This barcode scanner works well for most barcodes but it does have limitations when it comes to smaller barcodes. Anything standard is fine but when you get to less than half a cm in height it struggles.

Barcode scanner
I've been using this compact barcode scanner for a while now, and it's been quite handy around the house. Its small size makes it easy to carry, and the multiple connectivity options—Bluetooth, 2.4G wireless, and USB—mean I can use it with various devices without any hassle. Setting it up was straightforward; I paired it with my laptop via Bluetooth in no time, and the 2.4G wireless connection worked seamlessly with my desktop. The scanner reads both 1D and 2D barcodes, including QR codes, which has been useful for organizing my home library and keeping track of household items. I even tested it on barcodes displayed on my smartphone screen, and it scanned them without any issues. The scanning speed is impressive, capturing codes quickly and accurately. However, I did notice that with certain 1D barcodes, I needed to aim a bit more precisely to get a successful read. The battery life is decent, allowing for extended use without frequent recharging. Overall, it's a reliable tool that's made managing my personal inventory much more efficient.

Great fun
I took this without an actual use for it, but it's great fun. I went round the house scanning every barcode I could find. It's wireless, so I could in theory upload all the data to my laptop or phone, but it also stores the data on the reader itself, which is really useful. Great fun to play with

Scanning documents and barcodes has become more efficient with this device. It connects seamlessly across different modes, and the ability to store and batch-upload scans saves a lot of time. The vibration feature is handy in quieter environments. It’s compact and lightweight, making it perfect for on-the-go tasks.

Hugely convenient timesaver
When it became apparent we had no inventory system at work, we needed to come up with a solution quickly. In my case, I paired it to my laptop and went around the office scanning everything I could. The scanner handles everything I've tried to scan and easily handles QR and datamatrix codes as well as standard barcodes. It's functionality is simple, it simply reads the barcode and spits out text based on what it's read directly into whatever application you're using.I just had a spreadsheet open where I could have a column for serial number, item and then user. I could then bulk-import that into our new inventory software and save a tonne of work! The battery seems to last ages and it has an auto-power-off (which is configurable) so you can just sling it away when done and it takes care of itself. The only slight issue I have is that all configurations are done via the included booklet. Want to change power off time? Scan a barcode. While this is quite convenient and saves a lot of fiddling - it means if you lose the booklet you're kinda out of luck. But I'm willing to overlook that for the sheer convenience of the thing!

Fantastic little scanner for 1D and 2D codes, easily connects via bluetooth and works brilliantly
This review is for "Tera 2D Mini Bluetooth Barcode Scanner 1D 2D QR Wireless Portable USB Wired Bar Code Reader 3 in 1 (2.4G Wireless & USB Wired & Bluetooth) Pocket Barcode Reader, 1300."This is a fantastic barcode scanner for 1D and 2D codes. Pocket sized so easy to carry around, and wireless to make it more convenient than a wired scanner. As is normally the case with barcode scanners, the settings are configured using barcodes in the instruction manual, which I found straightforward to use - although I am familiar with these devices having used a wired 1D scanner for some time as well as a previous 1100 Model of the Tera bluetooth scanner (1D only) for the last few months. The body is black, and the button and 'Tera' logo are blue. It comes with a short lanyard and is charged ready to go. It is larger than the old 1D scanners, and also has a battery about double the capacity for longer life. Although I never had a problem with the battery in the old scanner. Another design improvement is that the 'scan' button no longer sticks out, so if it is in a pocket it doesnt get pressed accidentally.I had no problem setting it into Bluetooth pairing mode and connecting it to my Windows 11 laptop. The first scan I tried out was the QR code on my business card, and it scanned perfectly into a search engine box, coming up with my home page so no problems there.I really like this wireless scanner and am happy that is more versatile than my previous ones, I will also be using it with my phone now, as I run some Christmas Fayre stalls and I will be able to scan in the sales instead of typing in the amounts. Every little bit of added efficiency helps. This is easily a five star product for me and the price at the time of review was around £46, which is competitive in the marketplace for 1D/2D scanners. For something cheaper the 1D scanners may be enough for you.

Mini for a barcode scanner but so far it works. I don't have high hopes for a long life but hey, who knows
