Mehron Makeup StarBlend Cake (2 oz) (White)

I did this Halloween look using all Mehron products. The white, black and red are really pigmented, giving a greya effect. I used to black dry to create the sunken eye effect and it worked perfectly. Will definitely be choosing this brand again.

Great brand! I have been using it for professional face painting for years now. Great for stenciling and regular sponge application. Last on the skin for a very long time.

My daughters are HUGE into cosplay and makeup plays a huge part in their characters coming to life. White tends to be difficult to work with. It often doesn't blend evenly and the coverage if not uneven, can also look caked on. With this product...you don't have to worry about it. My girls both have different skin types (one oily and one dry). They are teens with occasional acne. When I tell you that his product covers them both flawlessly...I truly mean it. The coverage can go from transparent to full white with no streaking or blotchiness. It blends perfectly with other tones...and when it is set, it stays put until its time to wash it off. We've been using makeup for years and nothing has matched this quality! I highly recommend!

After researching and testing three water-activated white makeups, this is my second favorite. It is very easy to apply and pretty opaque, even mostly covering my hand tattoos, although it does require a few layers (don’t forget to let each layer dry completely before applying the next). It blended pretty well, not as well as the glycerin-based Mehron white (the “Paradise” ones) and better than the Wolfe FX one, which doesn’t blend at all. After testing it for 10+ hours, I did notice a little bit of cracking and flaking, and a bit of transfer onto my clothing but it was minor and almost unnoticeable. The overall look was still surprisingly good at the end of the day. I would first recommend Wolfe FX brand white makeup, and this as a second place recommendation, mostly to apply around the edges where the Wolfe brand won’t blend out.

I love this but the problem is, you have to use a very small amount to make it look smooth. I used a normal amount and it started to flake off or look very cakey. It could just be me, but I've never had this problem until now.
