Hard to source spare vats, came with a broken cover
I would not recommend this printer for someone just beginning. I have a number of other printers (Elegoo Saturn S, Elegoo Mars 2, Elegoo Mars) that I am comparing this against. 1. The build plate, and vat, are kind of a weird size. I have been looking pretty hard and I have not been able to source a spare vat outside this company (no third party options). I also have not looked at release sheets, but I'm betting I will need to go big and waste a lot on a trim. 2. The finish on the build plate is cheap. Where other printer I have use an actual texture, this is just a piece of aluminum someone ran a die grinder on for a second. I guess that makes it easy to retexture. However I have had some issues with prints coming off the build plate, even after optimizing first layer exposure times. 3. I hate the alignment. First the head came with screws out and rattling around in the box. If you didnt know what to look for you could be toast if they got thrown out with the packaging. Second, rather than a ball joint and two large set screws like on the Elegoos, this uses a weird slot and screw set up for leveling the head. This is the screw that was loose in the box. It works, but its not an elegant or pretty solution. 4. The cover came broken. there is about a 5 inch crack running down one corner of the cover. See photos. It looks to me like someone tried to put a piece of tape across it, leaving residue, but I could be wrong. It's not all bad though. This is my first time using a DLP printer and the detail was good once I dialed in exposure times. They seem to me to be a little longer than with my masked LCD printers, but not much. It was pretty easy to dial in the couple of different resins I tried. I actually like the interface and the control screen. Also, having the bed cleaning function after a failed print is really nice. No more scraping around ruining my FEP. All in all I was not impressed and for this price point, there are better options on the market.

Pretty awesome printer!
I wasn't sure what to expect from this printer. It's from a company I have never heard of and is DLP, which is great for longevity, but at the expense of only being 2K resolution. After using it for some time, I can say that I was really surprised! This printer is pretty awesome! As with all resin printers, setup was an absolute breeze. The screen is a touch screen, and really the only complaint I have with this printer so far. It feels fairly responsive until it goes into sleep mode. This happens after about five minutes into a print. It takes anywhere from 2 to 7 taps to bring the screen back. Also the LCD quality is questionable, as mine has gray spots washing out some of the colors, kind of like you would see on an older LCD TV. These didn't really show up well on pictures, so I didn't include a picture. One thing that was awesome to see was a free 250g resin sample. No other printer I own has come with this, so this was a nice surprise. The figures in my pictures are printed with the free resin, and they came out great. Speaking of the prints, they came out great. The details are sharp and crispy, which I was surprised 2K could look that good. The smaller Jessica Rabbit model is only 32mm and came out looking awesome. The Spider Gwen model comes in at about 6 inches tall and looks even better. Every little detail and texture pops, so the whole model is just stunning! Again, way better than what I was expecting from 2K resolution! As you can see, my post-processing could use some work, but every print that this machine puts out is just great. Using the free trial resin, the machine seem to have pretty optimal settings. I printed the Spider Gwen model first with out doing any kind of calibration! After, I did run The Cones of Calibration and The Cubes of Calibration and dialed everything in, which just required lowering the exposure time by a little. Overall, this printer is great right out of the box and even better with a little dialing in. From a company I have never heard of before, this printer just works and is fairly easy to use. The screen menus are self-explanatory and make sense. Prints come out great, even with the trial resin. Other than some screen issues, I really have no complaints about this printer. And with the DLP lamp, it should las a very long time. I highly recommend!

A great DLP resin printer!
I have been 3d printing for a few years now with FDM (filament) printers, but I have wanted to get a resin printer for a while in order to print miniatures. The LYNCAST Resin 3D Printer was my second resin printer, so I have a little experience but not much! However, this is my first DLP resin printer. I have done some research and kept up a little on new offerings and technology on and off over the years, ever since I realized that I would eventually get one, but I was not familiar with the LYNCAST brand. As mentioned, it uses DLP technology instead of LCD and should produce better quality and more detailed prints than an equivalent LCD printer of the same resolution, so I was pleasantly surprised that the detail was as good as it is, seeing it has 2K resolution. The LYNCAST Resin 3D Printer does come with a few cool features such as using tempered glass which provides better light transmittance. It also has a much greater lifespan which can be as much as 10x greater than an LCD based printer. I am glad that I went with the LYNCAST Resin 3D Printer. It comes in decent packaging (I was an Account Executive for a large packaging company, so I look at packaging a little differently than most consumers, lol). One of the many things I learned is that when a company spends time and money on packaging, they have the tendency to produce a higher-quality product (not always the case however!). It is straightforward and comes with everything you need to start printing except for the resin itself. As for the resin, it comes with a small sample of resin which is a first. As with any resin printer or FDM printer for that matter, just be sure to adjust the settings to get the best results. One of the many things I have learned is that much like FDM printing, you will have to learn to adjust your settings every time you change resins. As with all 3d resin printers (to date), using resin can be very messy. Make sure you have plenty of space to work around the printer and do it in a well-ventilated area. You can also get the ANYCUBIC Lightweight Ultra Quiet Purifier set to help with the fumes and smell. It did not bother me, but I am never bothered by printing ABS filament either so results may vary. I recommend starting out in a large, well-ventilated area. I do recommend taking some time to familiarize yourself with the printer. For the slicer, I am using Chitubox and Lychee, to see which one I like better. Even though I have been using slicers with my FDM printers, such as Cura and PrusaSlicer, there is a learning curve to resin slicers. Again, take some time to go over everything and familiarize yourself. Once the print is done, unlike many FDM filaments, there is post-processing required, washing and drying. Technically, you can get away by not washing or drying it, but your prints will not look very good. I am using the ANYCUBIC Wash and Cure Station (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B083GTS8XJ/) and it is working out great. There are other options out there for washing and/or drying your prints. The prints themselves are amazing! It did take me a couple of tries before I started getting everything tuned and adjusted 333just right. It is a large size print area so keep in mind, large prints on a 3d resin printer can take a lot of time. Plan accordingly and you will be fine. So far, I am loving my LYNCAST Resin 3D Printer and highly recommend it!

resin printer
This 3d resin printer is much better than I had expected it to be. It is built well and feels and looks like a high quality printer. Setup is very simple out of the box it comes fully assembled. You only have to remove some packaging materials and level the print surface. Leveling the print surface is much easier than most other resin printers on the market. My first print I used the standard slicer settings and it came out perfect. It certainly is not quick but no 3d resin printer is very fast. Overall for the price this is a very good 3d resin printer. It is high quality and easy to use. I highly recommend it.
