Rain-X Windshield Washer Fluid 0 Deg. 1 Gal.

My favorite windshield washer fluid. Why wouldn't you use the best? This product not only helps clean your windshield, it actually helps coat the windshield so that rain flows off whenever you're moving. I also use the traditional Rain-X treatment, so I'm glad to have this as a backup in the washer fluid system.

I’m a big fan of rain-x brand product but effectiveness for the price is going to be up to you independently. I think this wiper fluid does a great job of cleaning mild levels of buildup, I think it costs well for the purposes of helping with water beading, and the jug fills up my entire washer reservoir when it’s empty (jeep grand Cherokee for reference). So what are the downsides? Mostly the price relative to how often you might use it. If you garage your car and really only use this in the event that some crud flies up on your windshield or to coat it right before some rain then you’re probably going to get your moneys worth. However if you park your car outside and regularly come out to bird droppings or pollen buildup and you solve that by hard squeezing your washer fluid out then this is gonna disappear quickly and you’re gonna feel money is wasted. So if you’re in that first category then buy this. If you’re in that second category then spend half as much or less on the normal stuff.

It's true that it cleans very well. It removes all the bugs that might be stuck. You can see the difference when it rains; it gets much clearer. I really liked it and plan to keep using it.

Orange on the edges of your windshield look so much worse than blue and I had no idea until I got this. I don't regret it because it does a pretty good job cleaning the windshield but it just makes the edges look worse than it otherwise would. I'll definitely keep that in mind going forward but yes, it does clean pretty well.

The great price

I relied on the kindness of my husband who filled my windshield wiper well easily -opened the rubber (?) top, with a raised wiper image embossed onto the blue top , while explaining the importance of distinguishing it from the well for brake fluid which in my car is yellow (if my memory serves me correctly). The fluid just shy of completely filled the long tube as I watched it empty from the blue well through a long translucent tube, which had been completely dried out. But no more! later that day, I briefly engaged the wipers and a a swipe or two later the the dried dust spots liquefied and later disappeared !!! How easy was that!!!
