18V Replacement Battery for DeWALT: 18 Volt 5.0Ah XRP DC9096 Ni-Mh Batteries Compatible with DC9098 DC9099 DW9095 DW9096 DW9098 Cordless Power Tools

Purchased these 18V replacement batteries for my DeWalt tools to extend the life of otherwise expensive equipment. Performance has been very good—strong output under load with no noticeable drop compared to original batteries. Run time is impressive and holds charge well between uses. Charging is quick and they work seamlessly with existing chargers and tools, with no compatibility issues. Build quality feels solid and they fit securely without play. For the price, they offer excellent value and make it practical to keep older tools in service rather than replacing them. Overall, a cost-effective solution that delivers reliable performance and longevity.

Both of these batteries took a full charge and did fit my older DeWalt drill, although is took a little bit of persuasion to get them into the drill and then back out again. This wasn't a tough battlem though - just a tight fit. But, for saving the price of yet another drill (this is my second and my son is on his third!), this purchase is well-worth the effort. I'm pleased with my purchase; just about any way you look at it, I saved time, money, and frustration - well worth the price!

Nice to find a cheaper alternative to keeping the legacy 18V DeWalt tools operating. Replacement housing are weak and damage easily. Pros: Batteries seem to work well with the older 18V tools Battery housing "looks" exact but only in looks Batteries are a direct replacement into the OEM DeWalt housing 5mins to change out Batteries Cons: Dropped a tool two feet and the housing clamps broke just as the previous replacement batteries housing did beforehand. Cant just order the batteries separately and reuse OEM housing. Replacement batteries dont go into OEM DeWalt chargers smoothly, always bending tabs. Batteries dont seem to hold tightly into tools

I only have two (2) old original DeWalt batteries left that still take and hold a good charge so I have a benchmark to compare to. These new TotoPlus batteries seem to have at least 95% power of the DeWalts, charge quickly and hold a decent charge for many weeks idle time. These are great buy for the money. I'm using my original DeWalt charger and these fit my tools perfectly but for some reason are a little tight going into the charger. A little wiggle and the charge light comes on. Still not enough to detract from the price vs performance factor.

Battery is compatible with my DeWalt 18V cordless 5-3/8" trim saw (DW936). I have yet to test how much use I'll get out of a single charge, but considering I only use it for the occasional pproject around the house, I'm really not too concerned. Some other reviewers mention issues with battery fitment. I did not experience this issue. Overall, a great value for the money.

They work great, so far, now I can get more use out of my Dewalt drill since the original battery died on me. They are tight going on the charger but fit perfectly in my drill

I would give this item a zero star if I could. I received two 18v batteries and charged them both fully in an original Dewalt charger. They were a little tight, but not a real problem. They both successfully charged fully. I started to cut a 1/2" sheet of OSB and it barely got through 4' before dying. I finished the project with my electric saw. I then conducted an experiment after fully charging both batteries. I set up to rip a 2x4. I understand that this is a tough job for a circular saw. Neither battery lasted long enough to cut more that 24" and then died. I recharged both batteries and tried again with the same results. I have an older original Dewalt battery that is in good working order although it requires more frequent charging and it accomplished the job without problems. Buyers Beware!
