It works exactly as described I was using a cheap USB plugs into the USB port on the TV and into the headphones Jack to transmit the signal to my soundbar it worked it did the job but it was noisy and cranky sometimes so this was double the money but it's fantastic it is virtually silent I tried two items at the same time headphones and the sound bar they work no problem I would highly recommend this I use it to send the sound from my TV apps to my sound bar on the wall across from the TV Works beautiful and I'm using the fiber optic cable port on the back of the unit to the output fiber optic cable on the TV work great so I had no other reason to try RCA cables didn't make any sense but I'm sure they're okay too anyway I highly recommend it I don't think you'll be disappointed

This does exactly what I needed! I am using it out of the back of my receiver zone b to send Bluetooth music to the outdoor speakers until I get the wires ran for a hardwire setup. The setup was super easy, I did have a problem where there was no music at first, but then while I had the system running I unplugged the AUX cord from the back of the transmitter and then back in and then music started right up. It also connects seamlessly upon power up. My only complaint is that there is a very noticeable delay from the receiver output sound to the outdoor speaker sound because of the Bluetooth. But, since the speakers are separated and I am not listening to both at the same time, it isn't that big of a deal. At the end of the day, its a cheap easy way to setup a single device playing through multiple speakers in different locations. It also has a very small footprint which fits nicely in my entertainment center and the range I currently have it at is 15 feet away from the device and I have not had any signal loss yet. Overall, pretty good unit for what I need it for.

My VIZIO smart tv doesn't have Bluetooth built into it, so i got this crazy idea to figure out how to get bluetooth, so I came across this nifty invention, and since it wasn't purchased, bought, or found from Best Buy (the Masters of Technology, I'm sorry not sorry haha) I was worried that this was a fake trap and wouldn't work. Needless to say, when the shipment arrived in fast timing and arrival, I was wrong and I was so happy. I live the latency, connectivity, Bluetooth connectivity, works well, easy to use/ease of use, the volume control knobs and features, touch screen, just the whole cute adorable thing, qnd I'm do happy now, because my VIZIO tv now have Bluetooth when I turn this on, and I can connect to my Skullcandy Hesh EVO, Bluetooth headphones. My Optimum tv Google box, my streaming apps (Netflix, and etc) all have Bluetooth through my headphones pairing to this cool invention. My only complaint is that I have to mute the tv so that it doesn't echoes through both tv and my headphones, but that's ok, I don't mind. I'm just happy that I have Bluetooth working now, because my tv doesn't have it built-in. And my next complaint I that when my DVD player is on playing a DVD, the headphones only plays in one speaker of my headphones only. But, that's ok too.

Pros: 1. it connects to my Philips tv and allows me to hear the tv using my earbuds. 2. you can connect two sets of earbuds. 3. It has Velcro that allows you to attach it to the back of the tv. 4. It is affordable and does its job. Cons: 1. it does not sync with the lips of the actors. 2. There is no remote so if you need to change the volume you must get up (sucks when a commercial comes on.) 3. The volume is not high unless a commercial comes on. 4. It doesn't always automatically connect. You have to go to the device behind the tv and push the toggle button in to connect it to your earbuds.

This item works very well…. The Bluetooth signal is strong even though you walk 30 - 40 feet from the Transmitter. The price is fair for the quality of the performance and the solid construction. 4 stars because the power button only works to shut off. Once off, to restart you must remove/return power.

This BT transmitter is a good product but didn't work for my particular use case (transmitting to a Google Nest speaker). However, the company provided a remarkable customer service by email, with prompt response times. In the end I got a full refund. I'll definitely buy SOOMFON products in the future.
