SB Components PiCube 4x4x4 LED CUBE for Raspberry Pi 4, 3, 2, Zero and A+ Assembled (Red)

Pretty great cube for learning the basics of controlling the GPIO ports on a Pi. The only reason that I give this 4 rather than 5 stars is that the unit that I received was assembled incorrectly, with two of the layers placed the wrong way, so instead of lighting up each column, it will create a zig zag type pattern.The incorrect assembly causes the example patterns that are on github to all look a bit odd unfortunately.Luckily the instructions on this product's kickstarter page detail how to assemble the kit, which will allow me to re-solder and fix the issue.

I am very new to Raspberry Pi so thought this looked fun. And it is! The standard patterns are fun and there are seemingly endless combos you can program yourself. Just access the GitHub link on the manufacturers website for set up and patterns. Remember to disable Bluetooth or it won’t work!So far very pleased
