100% Scent Free and EFFECTIVE
I recently switched from trusty, but smelly Cascade Dishwashing Pods to Seventh Generation Free and Clear Pods and fell in love (they are awesome!). I snapped up a six pack of the Free and Clear Dish Liquid, which I have been using for nearly one month. Amazing Stuff! I have always used Dawn liquid and dabbled with other brands. I began to get nauseated by the lingering odor that remained on our dishes, as the scent would transfer to our food. Had to find something new. This dish soap is a work horse. A small amount goes a long way. Does not produce a massive amount of suds and has zero scent or color. We mostly handwash just our bamboo cutting boards and pots/pans - which are usually the funkiest food ingrained items in the kitchen, so something effective is necessary. I even asked my husband his thoughts on this soap after a couple of weeks. I was surprised he even noticed the change, but he enthusiastically said this stuff is great! He is pretty good about tackling the hand wash items, so he has used his fair share of different dish soaps. I don't find the soap drying to my hands, but I am also a constant hand lotion user. I would say it is pobably a good thing if the soap isn't filled with emollients that would transfer to your dishes. My pics are a before and after of a beat up, old metal pan that we lazily left in the sink overnight after roasting a small pork loin. It was baked on grease, funk and stain. After picture shows the clean (but still old!) pan after a quick and easy handwashing with the Seventh Generation. Tip: Adding a sprinkle of pure baking soda helps to remove the ugly brown stains. While this product is not 100% natural, it is less toxic than other brands on the market and more effective than similar products. I am a convert to this soap!

Extremely good price and value for an ecofriendly dish liquid
Seventh Generation Natural Dish Liquid, Free & Clear Unscented, 25-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 6), Packaging May Vary One of the reasons that I like this dish liquid is that it is unscented. I use many silicone products in my kitchen and some of them do retain odors and tastes from foods that I've cooked with or stored in silicone containers. Hubby made the mistake of using dish liquid that was scented, without me knowing, a couple of months ago, and he left silicone utensils and containers soaking in the scented dish liquid. Bletch!!! I could taste the scented dish liquid residue in my food and it wasn't appetizing at all. Since then, I've banned all scented dish liquid from the house and RV, and am gradually replacing the silicone products that I couldn't get the scent off of. He's now learned a very expensive lesson! The Seventh Generation Natural Dish Liquid, Free & Clear Unscented, 25-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 6) is a great value. The liquid itself works very well, and a little of it goes a long way, producing enough suds that rinse off quickly. It does cut through grease, and we haven't experienced any problems of the dish liquid not cleaning oil from pots and pans thoroughly. It works well on our deep frying pot, which always turns out squeaky clean. Our local Walmart had this dish liquid in stock at the time I ordered and it was on sale, priced at exactly the same as it was on Amazon. However, when we went to the store, there were only two 25oz bottles left on the shelf, so I came home and ordered the 6 pack directly from Amazon. Love this product and would highly recommend. I very much appreciate Amazon reviewers who take the time to provide their honest and unbiased reviews and, for that, I am extremely grateful to them. When I need or would like particular products, I take the time to research those products as I do quite a lot of online shopping. I also take the time to test every product, whether received for free, at a discount, or for full sale price, to find out if the item holds true to its claim. Some of the products that I have purchased at Amazon do not have the "Verified Purchase" tag attached to them. It doesn't mean that I have no experience with the products. It just means that Amazon couldn't verify that they had been purchased at Amazon. When I write a new review at Amazon, I have not been given the opportunity to mark my review as an Amazon Verified Purchase. The checkbox doesn't appear, and Amazon are unable to verify that I purchased the item at Amazon. If you found my review to be helpful in any way then I trust I have provided the necessary details to make your buying decision an informative and positive one. Should you have any questions, please feel free to ask away and hopefully I can provide an answer. Thank you for taking the time to read my review; it is very much appreciated.

Tough On Dish Dirt and Tough On Hands
Great stuff! We have a grey water system that employs a mulch bed with Willow Trees, Arctic Willow Bushes, and a Japanese Willow Bush, so we have to be careful of what we send down the pipes. The trees/bushes do very well with this. * A very little goes a long way. * It gets the dishes and sink really clean, and strangely enough keeps our dish rag clean longer as well (you know how normally the dish rag gets kind of icky and smelly after a few uses, even though it's rinsed and left to dry properly?). * For washing hands at the kitchen sink, it does an equally great job of getting dirt off, but it's rather harsh on the skin. Very drying. * While not as 'sudsy' as most store bought dish soaps, it does have a good amount of lather. * It does smell weird, not bad and not strong, just different (yes I know it's the 'Free & Clear' hence no perfume scent, but it still has a scent of some kind). * Rinses very clean, leaving no spots or film on dishes.

This is the best unscented dish soap that I have found. It works well and does not require a lot to get suds, unlike some other "green" dish soaps on the market. No slimy feel left on dishes or hands afterwards; does not require a lot of rinsing. I find this dish soap does not aggravate eczema. That being said, since this is a plant-based dish detergent, new users may find this product does not work as "instantaneously" as those other chemical-laden detergents. This is still a good "green" product. For stubborn stains or cooked on foods, I leave the dish in the sink to soak for a while with hot water, a bit of this dish detergent and a sprinkle of baking soda and it comes off! I absolutely recommend. It is better for your home and your health.

I absolutely love this dish liquid, it's everything I could have wanted. Was a bit worried when they arrived as the liquid had gone white from the cold. After a few hours indoors it went clear again. It performs really well and does not leave film or smell on the dishes This dish liquid has a very faint scent which has been driving me crazy trying to figure out what it is as it is familiar and really nice. Only get a whiff now and again. I am going to continue buying this. Would very highly recommend this dish liquid to anyone who hates strong smell. The only suggestion I would have to the manufacturers would be to make a smaller hole in the lid as the liquid does come out fast so you have to be careful when pouring.

I have been using this detergent for a number of years now and highly recommend it. It cleans dishes very well and is not hard on the skin. Another plus is that it has no smell - it is a big plus for those of us with perfume allergies.

This stuff is amazing. It smells kinda funky, like raw soap, but I cannot stand synthetic smells, so this is a great change from the typical supermarket brands. It's not bad on my skin, and cleans well. Would totally buy again, but I missed the detail that it was a box of 6 so now I have a ton of it. Excellent product.

I love this product and have ordered it in bulk twice . I just went to order it again and I tell everyone I know that they should buy it and I was stunned at the price. just insanity. Unless they bring their prices back to a fair amount I will look for another product dish soap is worth $17 a bottle. One star only because of the price the product is excellent
