Not just for sleeping, also for reading in bed, tv on couch etc
So first of all I have a short torso and big hips, and this is a little thick and high for my torso right now for lying on my side. It's easier on my back. That said, I was expecting that... this is the lowest height of all of the lumbar sleep supports I've found, and it also is likely to mush down after some break-in use like a lot of memory foam sleep support products can do so I'm not taking any stars off for that.I got this because I have started having really bad piriformis and hip pain on one side, partly because of how I lie and sit while working in bed or watching tv. I can feel the muscles tightening when I am trying to use them to support myself upright (I also have a hypermobility condition so I am always using muscles to stabilize myself upright, causing tension in weird areas). What I have found is the most amazing and unexpected use for this product is, is support for either my lower back while doing work or reading in bed (which I do a lot, as someone with a chronic illness), or under my knees or lower back while gaming or watching tv on the couch. It gives me a lot of core stability and support I never had before, and it is also handy to put upside down (or even right side up) in areas where my butt or legs are inconveniently located right between two sofa cushions (I have a cheapo sofa that tends to wedge my butt in the cushion gap uncomfortably). This provides a flat surface that is more comfortable and supportive. In short, you really can use this for a lot of things! I also have used it to stabilize my arm while sleeping, because if my wrist or shoulder stretch too much while at rest it can sublux things or irritate tendinitis and really hurt. It is just the right height to kind of rest my hand on when lying sidways so I am not stretching my shoulder joint excessively.I will say the best use so far for me has actually been stabilizing my lower back while reading and using my laptop in bed. It is such a relief to feel that support in my lumbar area so my pelvic muscles and joints, and my lower back can get a much needed break. But I am sure as I break this in more I will use it more for lying down too. The cover of this feels nice and is cooling and smooth, the memory foam is good quality. Great product.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A total game-changer for spinal alignment and rib stability
As someone with a combination of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions—scoliosis, sciatica, Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome—I’ve struggled for years to find a solution that helps with my spinal alignment and chronic rib subluxation. The laxity in my connective tissue (thanks, EDS!) often causes my ribs to slip out of place during sleep, leaving me waking up in sharp, breath-stealing pain.Enter this lumbar support pillow: a deceptively simple device that has drastically improved my sleep and daily comfort. It helps maintain a more neutral spinal posture (as close as I’m going to get with a curve like mine, lol), and it significantly reduces the frequency of those painful rib dislocations. It’s supportive without being rigid, and the contouring hits all the right anatomical landmarks to relieve pressure while gently encouraging better alignment. It’s been such a win for me that I even bought one for my dad, who also has Charcot-Marie-Tooth and sciatica, and he’s loving it too. I'm seriously considering ordering a third one just to keep in the car.If you deal with structural instability, nerve compression, or connective tissue disorders, this little pillow might be more helpful than you'd expect. It has genuinely made a big difference in my quality of life.

Arrived with a hole in the cover. Great for lumbar back injury.
This pillow works well to elevate the small of my back taking pressure off my herniated lumbar disk. I bought this pillow after researching how to help my back pain between medical procedures. This fit the bill. The pillow is comfortable when laying down or reclining and it's wide enough to support my entire back. For me, it doesn't work well in a chair as it sits below my lumbar disc area. The memory foam is cool and doesn't trap heat. The cover is washable so it can be cleaned if necessary. I deducted one star because the cover of my pillow arrived with a two-inch hole in the seam. If you have lower back injuries this might work well for you.

Must have for back and hip pain
OMG - my wife has chronic back pain and an old compression fracture in her lower thoracic region. She always sleeps with a pillow between her legs, but I got her this to see if it'd help. She was skeptical, but even I noticed the difference the next day. After a week, I ordered one for me too. I have nightly hip pain and have to turn over frequently - this has reduced that pain significantly. Great design, price, and quality. The cushion shapes to each of us easily and its very comfortable. Get one of these!

Lumbar Pillow is a product for those looking to relieve back pain
Lumbar Support The Lumbar Pillow has an ergonomic design that adapts to the natural shape of the back. It is made of a soft and breathable material that allows good ventilation. It provides adequate support to the lumbar area, which can help relieve back pain and improve the proper posture to provide support to the area without being too big or too small.

Kind of like sleeping on soap but made my back feel better.
I purchased this because I am a stomach sleeper and I have a gel memory foam mattress, which is too soft to provide adequate support so my back constantly hurts. The pillow is nice and firm so as long as it's in the right spot, my stomach is not sagging into the mattress. However, the case really needs some type of grips on it because it is SLIPPERY. It kept slipping out from under me and off the side of the bed in the middle of the night.I eventually put it inside my zippered mattress cover which is pretty tight as is. Even bring that tightly wedged inside the fabric, it still slides around.Other than that, great product though.
