Nice base plate for my Sony a7C camera. It does add a little weight but I was after the extra length to increase the grip size. It gives you a great place for your little finger to grip the camera. It looks as if it is part of the camera body also, which is nice. I do recommend this item.

It’s overall well built and feels good but there is almost no space to get the screen to pop out. If it had an indent near the edge of the screen it would be much better.

Fits perfectly at a great price

One of the last base plates still being sold on the market that fits the original A7C. Looks great on the camera, especially after a coat of chrome spray paint.

This is the only baseplate I could find for the A7C that also had an arca Swiss mount built in, all the other usual suspects only sell L brackets or full cages. It fits well and has clearance for the battery door. Adds a little place for your pinky to rest as well. Ultimately I returned it because it added a little more weight than I wanted and my reason for having the A7c is to go as small and light as possible. But that's a me problem.

My pinky now has a place to rest!!! I would have liked an extension on the full grip part but that's just me being picky.
