I didn’t expect a foot rest to make such a noticeable difference, but this one genuinely improved my comfort while working at my desk. We haven't figured out the adjustable height option, but it is a good, sturdy footrest in the non-adjusted height option. We use it on our boat at the helm for the Captain to rest his feet. It came in a compressed package but when opened it turned into the sturdy foot stool as described. The length and width are perfect, and the material seems that it will clean up nicely. We'd buy it again. We purchased the dark grey. It looks expensive.
