Hooked on Phonics has been around a long time. Like anything, you get out of it what you put into it.My daughter spends some time every day with this. If one spends a small amount of time each day at an early age, they will become proficient readers as they grow. It's all in the presentation and making it fun.Of course as grandparents we see the light and encourage regular efforts. As they say practice makes permanent. Was I an avid reader ? in grade school yes, in HS not so much.

Great for phonics readers

Great little book to take along on a trip or just do over the summer vacation!

My twin granddaughters arw homeschooled and this was a great addition to their curriculum. They really enjoy it... they call it the fun book!
