I was skeptical at first. I bought this camera/ screen package for a special use....to keep an eye on the various equipment on TOP of my work truck while at highway speeds....lights, antennas, devices etc. At the special price there's no way it would do what I needed....but it did! VERY powerful magnet, great crystal clear camera and easy to set up monitor. Very happy with it. I'll be back in 6 months to give an update. Update....I can't keep the monitor and camera "paired" even tho its only 8 feet away...so Ive returned this unit. Picture quality was great...when it worked.

I recently bought this camera for my 20 foot cargo trailer, it has been really convenient, especially when backing up and also watching all cars behind me while I’m driving.The camera is very easy to use, and it connects quickly with a sharp clear image.The camera size proportions, including the screen, are all super convenient.I would say that adhesive backing on the cover that covers the magnets behind the camera could be a little better quality. It looks like it’s made of foo leather , mines started to show wear and tear right off the bat, but I don’t think it will be an issue. I only bring the camera out during use and I also purchased a container that holds and accommodates the camera and screen.

Update! Ok this back up camera ended up being useless. It stays on the whole time which at 1st I thought useful. Well it ends up eating all the battery up and the solar panel can’t keep up with the charge. Once we parked and let it charge all day by the sun it still didn’t turn on. I went outside and manually turned the camera on and it turned on. Upon backing out it turned off in 2 seconds. It basically needs to be charged via cord charger to boost its battery back up to full but then it won’t turn off when ur driving again. So who’s going to go retrieve it from the back of an RV after u back up to turn it off and plug it in ur car to recharge. Terrible design.Our Rv doesn’t have any metal at the rear top. We would have to glue some metal plate so we mounted it on our rear bumper. It’s blocked somewhat by the tire but still got some sunlight as the device started charging right away when it detected sun. There’s also a charging port for cloudy days. The magnet is very strong. I have to use 2 hands to take it off so no worries about it falling off during the trip. We decided to just have it on when we travel and take it off when we don’t so it’s perfect for us. We’ll see how it does when we go on our next trip in a month. Will update.

I just install this camera on my crane/truck. the images quality is very good. my truck is 30 feet long and I get good Signal . the only big issue I have is that camera stay on during the night and it drain the battery. so in the morning I don't have any charge left in the camera. and I have to wait all day for the battery to charge by the solar panel. also the viewing monitor stay on and there is no way to turn off during night driving. you have to unplug it. I have my hard wire so it's very inconvenient . it's a good device but putting an off switch on the monitor would be excellent. also having the ability to charge the camera by hard wire will be great.

I really like this portable camera, it’s very useful, it even gives you two choice install to you vehicle or plug to a v12 car charger. It’s really cool and amazing.
