If you don't have an ice maker i highly recommend this one it hasn't failed me yet it makes eyes pretty quick i use only distilled water in mine it's not very noisy and after i make the ice and empty the tray i stick the cubes into my freezer which makes them a much stronger ice cube i recommend this product highly

This is such a great ice maker for such a low price, my spouse and I absolutely love it and can't really go without it now. It works so well and makes ice so quickly. Easy to fill up and just easy in general. I love this thing. I've had it about a month now and use it all day every day and it still is working perfectly. It also came with a big sheet of cute/hilarious stickers, some of them have nothing to do with ice makers whatsoever but the brand must make other things besides this and just put a sticker sheet in anything they send lol, it's a cute touch though. We put one of the stickers on the machine and it looks like it belongs there. You do need to buy de-scaler/cleaner for it, the ice will start tasting weird if you don't clean it out and cycle some water through it afterwards. The only small complaint is that I wish there was a place to put the scoop, we just have to set it on our counter. At least it does stand upright, the end of the handle is flat so you can stand it up next to the machine. It would just be nice if there were a different spot on the machine for it to go. Other than that, I love this! It gets me drinking water wayyyy more than I usually would... I have a hard time drinking water if it's not cold and now that we have this I'm drinking ice water constantly. Oh, also the machine is a tiny bit on the loud side, I really don't mind though at all, it doesn't bother me. My spouse had been worried before it was delivered that it would be annoyingly loud and she says it doesn't bother her either, it's not as bothersome as she thought it would be.

I will be honest — I debated this purchase for a while. But I am here to tell you: do not debate. Just buy it. I have had mine long enough to develop an actual SYSTEM and that is how you know something has genuinely integrated into your life. I run it from 7-9am while I'm sleeping, grab a full cup in the morning, top it off around 3pm for about 30-45 minutes, and still have ice left from the morning batch. The double wall insulation is no joke — this ice is not going anywhere fast. The ice itself is the star of the show. Perfect nugget size, perfectly crunchy, not the kind of hard that makes your dentist give you a look. It is Sonic ice. In your house. Whenever you want it. Let that sink in. Is it noisy? A little bit, but it's not bad. I am super sensitive to noise and it doesn't really bother me. If you turn your TV or radio on, it's barely noticeable. I cannot recommend this enough. Ten out of ten. Life changing. My only regret is not buying it sooner.

I have been using this ice maker for over 4 months now and have had minimal issues with it. I live full time in an RV so freezer space is limited. I used to buy 7 lb bags and store in a chest freezer but I can’t do that now. This icemaker has been a lifesaver! I run it and put the ice in a gallon freezer bag to store. It makes ice fairly quickly and it’s relatively quiet while running. It has a drain on the bottom and I run white vinegar through it once in a while to keep it clean. I’ve never had any odors or algae in the ice. There are a few cons though. Main one is the ice is wet when it comes out of the machine. I grab it and shake the water off as best I can. When it goes in the freezer some of them clump together after a bit so I have to break it up. It takes a while to fill a freezer bag. I’d say a couple of hours and I have to be near enough to empty the tray. If I don’t it’s not a big deal because the machine stops when the tray is full but those wet cubes will stick together in a big clump. I just try to remember to empty before this happens and for me it’s not a big deal. When it runs out of water it also stops. When I see the red light I know to add water but it doesn’t just restart. You have to turn it off and back on to make more ice. That is a bit annoying. With having limited space in the RV having the smaller size gives me more room and it fits well in in the corner of my sink. I run it every day and it’s been very reliable. If it wasn’t for the wet ice and the adding water issue I would have given it 5 stars.

This is my favorite Ice maker of all time. It makes the good ice and it stays frozen as long as you keep the machine on. It's large while still fitting on your counter so it makes a lot of ice. It's also just a beautiful machine. We love the digital set up, the lights and how you can control it with an app on your phone. Very big upside is that it's self cleaning and tells you when to clean it!! It is so worth the price.

Okay let me start with the whole idea of having a countertop ice maker sounds really cool! In reality it's just really not functional and is a gimmick! Don't get me wrong it will make ice within 6 to 7 minutes. But the quality of ice is lacking seriously! Even on the larger size Ice Cube it is very small! Smaller than the average normal Ice Cube! Along with that the Ice Cube comes out very very wet and not very frozen like a normal Ice Cube! Using the ice cubes will result in any drink to be deluded being that it melts very fast! Even if you have a beverage that has been in the refrigerator it melts quickly watering down your beverage! If you're going to use this ice for anything that has not been refrigerated beforehand it will melt immediately and leave you nothing but watered down or diluted beverage! As the basket gets slightly full the ice cubes at the bottom are literally melting away to nothing and the water from the melting is being recycled to make new ice cubes that are already melting coming out! I let the machine continue on to try to make a full basket of ice only to bag the ice to put in the freezer. That resulted in one big block of what looks like frozen melted ice being that the ice cubes are so wet coming out of the basket they all freeze together in one big block of ice! Yeah the concept seems really cool yet it's nothing more than a gimmick! Probably will be sending it back for a refund. Additionally the basket storage area is not well insulated so yes the ice melts even quicker being that it's not refrigerated or keeping cold! If you're intending to use these for alcoholic beverages probably not the best decision! If you're a bourbon or whiskey Drinker and like ice in your drink this will seriously water it down very very fast. That goes basically for anything you put this ice in even if it's been chilled or served at room temperature! I'm not all down on countertop ice makers yet I think one as this is is very cheap and you get what you pay for something that does not work very well at all! I would give it serious thinking to purchase this and waste your time resulting with wet ice and watered down beverage drinks! Oh yeah I live in Florida too and have my air conditioning on inside the house. So if you're going to use this Outdoors or in a warm house forget about it.

It makes 44Lbs of ice for sure in less than 24 hours !

I received the delivery yesterday and this is my ‘box opening’ thought. - worth it? uuummm, I don’t think so is my ‘box opening and setting up’ thought. But, that is my ‘initial thought..’ I am sure it will change to a more positive thought as I get to know it. - somehow, I ’assumed’ the ice ‘catcher’ would be bigger. But.. that’s my thought by assumption. It’s a counter top machine, so I should have expected what I got. I’m not really sure why I thought that. I just did. The size is good for a counter top machine. - the I ice is not as hard as I would have thought… but transferring the ice to a freeze bin will or should help that. - noice level. I’m saying no. I expect some noise when it’s operating. - it’s a really nice looking device and fits, cosmetically, well either way my other appliances. - the ice output, due to the ice container size and the size of the ice maker is adequate, but the production is ok. I will be transferring the ‘output’ to a bin in the freezer’.. -convenience? Very… - Initially, I am ‘okay’ with the purchase. Time will tell. - reliability: I am going to add warranty protection, etc., pretty damn quick, because I paid $400+ for it. I just can’t take that chance, due to sine of the negative reviews Will provide an update in two to three weeks. But it’s a nice looking device and machine.

Love it, but wish that the size of the ice is bigger

Have had almost 2 months now and love it. Use this almost daily. Store the extra ice in a bag in the freezer. Makes 9 decent size bullet cubes at a time and places them in a basket over top of the water reservoir. Makes the ice cubes quicker than I expected. We haven't tired the wifi function yet. I would buy it again and would recommend it to anyone that likes to use ice in a reusable water bottle or likes it make/ use ice in a cooler. We make the ice store it in the freezer and dump it in the cooler. If your use to buying bags from a store for a cooler to take on the go this will pay off quickly.
