A good buy
It would have been useful to know about the flow/pressure recommendations, which determine the operating length beforehand. Not sure what my pressure is but the 10M hose expanded to only 22M suggesting it is lower than the optimal 4 Bar, but this length is OK for my application so no complaints.Quality looks really good. Good quality brass fittings, which are a little tight, probably due to newness - I might just smear some silicone grease on the o-rings to see if that helps. Everything fitted together, no leakage, connection to the tap was simple with the 3/4 adaptor supplied, again, no leaks. The kit also comes with a complete set of replacement seals and gaskets for extended service life.A different type of fabric cover to those seen on cheaper types, much smoother when retracted more of a concertina weave than a spiral weave, works well, very neat, and doesn't promote hose twist like our last one......which is now in the bin.The spray gun is very good, the thumb lever flow control is an excellent idea, so you don't need to keep squeezing the pistol grip to release waterQuite a bit more expensive than other makes, but very happy with the quality level, and I guess you get what you pay for. Don't know about longevity, only had it a day but so far so good.A good buy, well worth the money.Update: December 2021- the spray gun developed a massive leak in the side of the pistol grip. There was as much water spraying sideways as there was coming out of the nozzle. Contacted Fitlife on Sunday, and a new spraygun (upgraded version as the original was out of stock) was shipped on Monday and arrived Wednesday. Great customer service 5⭐️ - that’s how it’s done. The hosepipe itself is still going strong, still happy with it.

Tough flexible hose
Really good quality flexible hose, sturdy fittings and excellent price. Easy to fit, no leaks, stores neatly

A good idea, but not very long lasting.
I have bought five of these hoses since 2019 and they are a great idea, expanding well, easy to store, quality brass fittings which can connect multiple hoses (with an additional attachment). What's not to like? Well, mine don't get heavily used but seem to spring a leak after 2-3 years use, which is why I have ordered so many. Sadly, the 25ft one is no longer available, so I shall have to replace it with a 50ft hose this time. Customer Service has been superb when I have needed to contact the Company.

Great quality Shrink type hose
thus far the hose has worked as stated and the build quality looks very good, especially with the brass connectors.a word of caution though, and this I'm sure goes for any of this style of hose, I was surprised at how much the hose shrinks back when its actually being used, i.e. water is flowing, I purchased the 100 foot version but probably could have done with a slightly longer version, but they don't make one.it was clearly stated that it may happen so totally my problem and not the suppliers. hence a 5* rating.I now have a 100 foot hose that fits in a bucket when not in use which is great

Works only with 4 Bar pressure or above
I chose this hose because it states – (1) ‘Triple layer latex inner tube is the highest quality material on the market, to strength the durability, no more burst’, (2) ‘Strong And Durable, No More Burst: The premium elastic outer fabric is more dense and rugged than before, can protect the inner tube effectively, provides superior protection from thorns, puncture, sharp corners, more resistance to bursting and leaks, prevent damage from normal friction of dragging on the ground’, (Their bad English not mine) and (3) ‘Solid metal connectors’.I do not know why they state that ‘endurance test can up to 1100-1200 uses compared to the typical life of only 200-250 uses under the water pressure of 145 PSI/10 Bar’.NOTE! (1) Nobody should have 10 Bar or anything above 5.5 Bar as this will potentially damage your home appliances and plumbing system; good pressure in the UK is between 2 and 5 Bar, typically 3 to 4 Bar. Water companies are only required by law to supply a minimum of 1 Bar pressure.NOTE! (2) The specification table says, ‘Water pressure request, 4 Bar’. What it should say is, Minimum required water pressure, 4 Bar, (this is above average) if not, you are left with a floppy un-extended hose, like me; I only have a healthy average of 3 Bar, (44psi), so check your water pressure before ordering!NOTE! (3) The hose fittings do not allow direct use of many other manufacturers fittings: push as hard as you like but the connector will not lock (or click) on, the fittings supplied are slightly shorter than standard, to allow for this the female connectors have a spacer washer inside, If you want to use any other standard hose fittings you need to remove this washer, then making sure you have a decent O-ring fitted on the male connector; then this will allow it to act as per a standard fitting. The spay head, which is excellent; comes without an O-ring fitted (male connector), to allow it to fit their female connector; but the hose kit does come with a good selection of washers and O-rings allowing the male connector to be adapted to fit a standard female connector. So, if you have pressure of at least 4 Bar and will only be using the hose and fittings as supplied (not using any of your own) then all will be well, but as I stated, it does not expand or work for me!
