Providing you have it in a position where it senses you the minute you walk through the door yes. Mine works great!

Why can't my device change from red after new batteries installed?

I had 1 of my lights do the same thing. After numerous new battery changing and pushing light color changing button. The red light remained on but a very faint red light. I threw it away and ordered a new one.

What batteries do I buy

I’ve never had to buy batteries. It came with them for us.
