Bought for my friend, Everard.
Seems to be a difficult book to get hold of but managed to buy direct from the publisher via Amazon.Well researched apart from right at the end of the book where the date of death is given as 7th July 1995 instead of 7th January 1995, the book studies his life in some depth.

A wonderful book
Larry Grayson is probably the only comedian who I have found funny throughout my entire life, so I was keen to read this book when I heard about it. I wasn't disappointed. This book is really wonderful. It's well written, thorough and you can tell the author is a fan. Larry Grayson had an interesting life from the second he was born, and it seems he was as nice in real life as he was on TV. I have read a lot of biographies, and I would say that now this one is my favourite. It was truly a pleasure to read from start to finish.

A Most Welcome and Overdue Tribute to a Midlands Comedy Legend
Never have I wanted to begin reading a book, not wanting to finish reading it too quickly, in equal measure. I knew nothing about Tony Nicholson`s book, until accidentally discovering it online, only a week ago, and promptly set about acquiring a copy, the only copy I could find for sale on the internet. I have been a fan of Larry`s since 1978, and a family night out to see him in Summer Season at Wellington Pier in Great Yarmouth. I highly recommend Tony`s book, a welcome companion to Mike Malyon`s "Seems Like a Nice Boy". A most welcome and overdue tribute to a Midlands comedy Legend. Thank you Tony

Life of Larry Grayson
Loved this book. I felt as if I was listening to Larry reading it. Shame the old pubs in Bedworth and Nuneaton were not mentioned as he had many friends in those pubs who spent many hours with him. He was exactly the same off screen as on. It was just how he was. He is missed.

A worthy tribute
If you're a fan of Larry you really should buy this book. A little expensive considering the size of it, but the contents make it worthwhile. The other book on Larry 'Seems Like a Nice Boy' is also worth a purchase.

What a Performer!!
Some difficulties were experienced with original delivery coming from France, these were successfully overcome by Joseph (at Av-per) and all is now well. The book was well received by my wife and is extremely informative.
