This is an excellent package for those starting on their home coffee roasting journey. It contains everything you need and nothing that you don't. Learning to roast coffee takes time and you will learn to refine the process as you go forward. As such, the inclusion of the coffee beans is a nice bonus.The included extension tube provides higher heat, increases the amount of coffee that you can roast, and allows for better control. Since the machine has a built in cooling function, I opted for the scale as weighing out the beans is critical to getting consistent roasts.There are numerous YT videos and coffee forums to learn how to use the roaster. This is important as the included documentation describes the machine but not how to roast.I had to contact the seller regarding an issue about a part that I overlooked in the package and they responded within 24 hours.

I really love this coffee bean roaster (air popper variety). It's been easy to use and fun to learn. I have roasted 4 batches of beans. It takes some practice and patience to get the roasting times just right.The controls are simple but takes a couple of runs to get it right - you adjust the air flow and the heat temperature. Be sure to weigh your beans before you roast so you don't overload it.The RUN and COOL DOWN are the same button, and you can't tell if you're really on COOL DOWN mode. So, it's a bit annoying. That could be improved.I only use this roaster outside. There is a lot of dust from the bean chaff out the top (normal) and the smell of roasting beans is not something you would want in the house. But you get these from just about any bean roaster you buy.

It's a pop corn popper on steroids and roasts my beans in under ten minutes impressive. But be gentle with the plastic it chips very easily use the brush included.
