Fun for all ages
This was a fun game. I played it with family ranging in age from 12 to 67. The fact that they had a mixture of older movies and newer games meant that all ages had something for them. Older versions of the game came with a plastic timer, but this version relies on someone having a smartphone to use the app. This was not a problem as the app worked well. Overall a great quality game that was worth money!

Nothing but fun and laughs
My family loves this game! We get so competitive lol. Makes you think on your feet. Only down side is if you don't know video games makes that category a bit challenging

Fun, and harder than you think!
Enjoyed by entire family! Not sure how the duration of playability will be, but we like it so far!We have a variety of ages. Definitely need a mixture of ages on each team if you want to win!

Fun
fun game! movie and video game trivia. they are separate card piles so if you need you can pull one out. the blockbuster design reminds me of my childhood. it is well made and the box is very whimsical. younger generations may be confused but that's okey.

Great family activity for the whole family
We had so much fun playing The Blockbuster Game! It’s perfect for family game night, especially with the mix of movies, TV shows, and video games. It’s easy to learn, but still challenging enough to keep everyone engaged. The questions and clues are well thought out, and it brings out the competitive spirit in a fun way. Whether you're a movie buff or not, it’s a great game for all ages. Highly recommend for anyone looking to add a bit of entertainment to their next gathering!

Anyone miss Blockbuster?
The nostalgia of this is what made me want this game. While it's neatly packed and in theory sounds like it would be fun, its honestly just confusing af. It's fun for a one time play, but other than that, not really worth it.

Timer is Stressful... but Overall, a Fun Game!
So, there's the obvious nostalgic Blockbuster theme going on with this game. That's cool, but is it fun? We set it up and played it a few days ago and have to say... yes! This game is a lot of fun, but I found it can also be stressful when doing to head-to-head and trying to name movies, games, or tv shows with a 15 second timer looming over me. I freeze up and my mind blanks in that situation. Still, it's a good time overall and really like the addition of the TV shows and video games categories which helps balance it out and give an edge to certain players (like my son who knows way more about video games than anyone else).I looked up a video on how to play and noticed there was a blue buzzer being used. Apparently, they've removed the buzzer in this latest edition and replaced it with a time phone app you download. You can even see there's a blank space in the box/container where the buzzer used to sit (no covered with white cardboard). At first, I was irritated by this as I would much prefer to have the physical game buzzer vs having to rely on my phone, but researching further, I see the buzzer was limited to one interval of 30 seconds while the app has different time intervals for the different game modes (15 seconds for Head-to-Head, 30 seconds for Charades, and 60 seconds for Blockbuster and Chill).
