This product is excellent, it works very well! I bought this to replace my old Keystone air conditioner which was 17,700 BTU. It was really easy to install because it uses the same cage-type frame, so all I had to do was pull out the old one and slide this one in. One thing that I would note is that because this product offers heating, this uses a 6-30 NEMA plug instead of the 6-15 NEMA plug that these types of air conditioners normally use. I had to replace my outlet to accommodate this, but if you don't have an available 30amp breaker, this could end up being a big problem. Definitely something to consider, but the product works well and I definitely recommend it!

This is a very good air conditioner and easy to install, a very fair price and this unit also has built in heating, I would recommend this unit to anyone looking for a good quality heating and cooling system, it is so much quieter than the unit that I was using and it has a remote control which is very helpful due to where I had to install this unit.

The plug for this unit is huge and won’t fit in a regular receptacle. We are trying to have our receptacle replaced in order to be able to use the unit

We’ve been using this in our “tiny home” for 6months while we are building our house. The heat and cooling both are great, it’s really loud though!! It kicks on for a few minutes for like a “warm up” (on both heat and cooling) then shuts off for a few seconds and kicks back on for the duration. Not sure why. Installing was easy as any window/wall unit is. It an ok value for the cost. Just alit louder than most.

We have this in our extra family room. It does a great job. Our HVAC went out and for a week solid this unit kept our entire 2200 sq ft cool enough to sleep. We are very pleased

Just got the 18K model and installed it. I did some things to secure it without drilling into my vinyl window (as they direct), but made it secure. It blows cold air as expected, yet not had a great heat wave yet to really put it to the test.My one gripe is before purchase I ask in Q&A “Is the heat function via heat pump?” which I wanted for the energy saving benefit (having other heating when needed for freezing temps that others ask about). I got “Yes it is heat pump” and the product details of “Supplemental heating when temps out are above 45” hinted such as well (I have used portable AC units with heating that depend on outside temps being above freezing). Yet when sliding out the main assembly from the “sleeve” frame for mounting, I instantly noted a rough wire diagram with heating elements shown that connect directly to 240V power via relay contacts. I unplugged one of those wires to disable the elements and see if it did ANYTHING without them for heating, but it doesn’t (besides blow air with the fan going). So this (like most others with the heating function) gets heat ONLY from heating elements (NO HEAT PUMP feature). Some may think “It’s not their fault you expected something it doesn’t have”, but I did my homework, tried to ask (where they failed to respond), and I don’t understand the advertising “…heating when temps above 45 outside…” statement when outside temps don’t matter with heating elements. So that’s why they lost rating with me (making me decide to return it and get one with the features I wanted). I'm sorry for the hassle to Amazon etc, but hope they'll edit the product details to not hint features it doesn't have.
