Cozy and Convenient
a soft, warm, and easy-to-use throw that provides consistent warmth and comfort on chilly days. With six adjustable heat settings, an automatic shut-off timer (2-10 hours), and a machine-washable design, it’s a perfect blend of safety, convenience, and luxury.Pros:✅ Fast and Even Heating – The blanket heats up quickly and distributes warmth evenly, ensuring cozy comfort without cold spots.✅ 6 Heat Settings – Adjustable heat levels make it easy to find the perfect warmth, whether you need gentle heat or extra coziness.✅ Auto Shut-Off for Safety – The 2-10 hour timer provides peace of mind, preventing overheating and making it great for bedtime use.✅ Soft and Plush Fabric – The flannel-like material feels soft and comfortable, making it ideal for lounging on the couch or adding extra warmth to the bed.✅ Machine Washable – The detachable controller allows for easy washing, keeping the blanket fresh and clean.Cons:⚠️ Cord Could Be Longer – The power cord is a bit short, which may limit placement options unless used near an outlet.⚠️ Not Super Thick – While warm and soft, the blanket is on the thinner side, so it may not provide enough warmth without the heat feature turned on.Final VerdictThe Heated Electric Blanket (50” x 60”) is a great addition to any home for staying warm and cozy during colder months. With customizable heat settings, an automatic shut-off for safety, and a soft, machine-washable fabric, it’s both practical and comfortable. While the cord length could be improved, its fast heating and ease of use make it a fantastic choice for relaxation.⭐ Rating: 4.7/5 – Warm, soft, and easy to use—perfect for cold nights!

Good Heating Throw/Blanket
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I used this heat blanket over the winter months when I needed a little extra heat and when the heat went out. The blanket was lightweight; the top of the blanket was soft and the sherpa has held up well. The price point was decent for the blanket. It warmed up quickly and stayed warm. It was used all winter and was still going when springtime came around. Overall, I would purchase this again if I needed a new one.

Hits many of my requirements
I've had at least 10 electric blankets over the years ... but this one is fast becoming my favorite for a number of reasons. Firstly, the blanket is so soft and so lightweight (important for me because I do not enjoy a weighty blanket of any kind). Secondly, the blanket has very ample width (something I've found not always to be the case with other warming blankets). Thirdly (and importantly), the blanket heats up VERY quickly ... turn it on, and the bed is warm in under 5 minutes. I'll have to see if that continues to be the case as time passes, but right now I do not need to remember to turn on the controls 30 minutes in advance. Those controls do have only 6 settings instead of the traditional 10 or 12 settings. But #6 is too hot for me, and I'm finding #3 setting is quite nice. And of course, there is a timer to automatically turn off the controls (very important) ... maximum time is 6 hours. That works very well for me, but that could be an issue for you 8-hour folks (lucky you). One thing I love about the blanket is that the bottom control connectors are not centered on the bed but are placed on the opposing bottom corners ... that made it MUCH easier for me to "thread" the cords from bottom of bed to top of bed to plug into the wall outlets. And I'm not ever touching those bottom connectors with my feet during the night since they are tucked on the corners ... brilliant idea!My only reservation is that the heated surface of the blanket stops at the edge of the mattress side (even though the the blanket hangs over the edges for at least 12 inches each) ... but then, so do all other blankets I've had in the past, and that might be a safety function. So I've decided not to reduce number of stars on that ... I have given this one 5 stars across the board but might come back with an addendum if I find some "negatives" with longevity of use.

VERY SOFT, COZY, EASY-TO-USE ELECTRIC BLANKET/THROW - HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!
I love this electric blanket/throw. It helped me to survive a rather cold winter this past year. You do have to make sure that all electrical extensions, strips, or converters are thoroughly plugged in snugly (I mean really snugly), or it might just start giving you difficulties at some point (it did me), shutting itself off and posting an incomprehensible error code on the control box. So if that happens to you, check all the electrical connections, and push them in real tight. The blanket has 6 heat settings (I usually use setting 2 or 3), plus several settings for auto- shutoff (4 hours, 6 hours, up to 10, I believe). It's a very soft blanket with faux-shearling on the inside and a really soft velvety material on the outside. I often throw a doubled-over flat sheet over it to protect it (I have pets). It's a really good purchase for the $s. I was able to keep my heat down around 60 last winter, and still be cozily warm on my sofa, snuggled under this wonderful blanket. I highly recommend it. (It's still working well, and I'm still using it on chilly spring nights.)
