Excellent for the pool!
Love these for swimming laps. I don't like to use them outside the pool because the sound will be pretty soft and trebly. They sound dramatically better when you're wearing earplugs, and even better when you're underwater. Battery live is solid. The only downside is that data transfer is pretty slow, and the controls are a bit awkward. For example, if you want to raise the volume, you press once. But if you press twice, you go to the next folder. So if you want to raise the volume twice, you have to wait a little bit between each press. It took me a while to figure out how to get my playlists playing in the same order. Check the manual, you need to use a certain naming convention for the tracks.

Best value in bone conduction
I use these swimming, streaming radio and podcasts from a smart watch. There is a known glitch in the instructions about the watch use which the power goes off. The workaround is to start stop and restart. Then itโs fine. I havenโt used the mp3. I use this when working in the yard rather than lose earbuds. These phones are a great value. I didnโt want to spend more money until I knew my methods worked. Battery life is good. The buttons are hard for me to distinguish between the three but others who borrowed had no trouble. Good pairing. Comfortable Fits under swim cap. Ear plugs cuts noise in water and helps with volume.

Best sounding Bone Conduction Ive heard, but...
I tried the Shokz OpenRun Pro 2, and these sound WAY better and play much louder. They sound a lot fuller than the Shokz, with airy highs, natural mids, no tinnyness, and surprising richness in the lows for Bone Conduction. Amd there is actually some bass with these! Be aware that Bone Conduction is never going to sound as good as in ear, on ear, or over ear headphones. But for what they are they are quite good, hence the 5 stars. They also fit with a little more clamping force to ensure good Bone conduction, which wasnt the case with the Shokz on my head. Plus, you get onboard music storage in addition to Bluetooth, and they are fully waterproof for swimming. The drawbacks are, slightly less comfortable and less unobtrusive than the Shokz, and you can really feel the low end physically pulsing into the side of your head, and there is a good but of tickling sensation from the sound vibrations. I didnt have that with the Shokz, but that's obviously the tradeoff for having more volume and more bass. If you might be bothered by the tickling and pulsing sensation, and sound quality is less important to you, then you might prefer the Shokz.

Good, but sometimes annoying
These work very well for running and swimming but there are three quirks that are annoying. First, when turning on, it starts in internal memory, which is probably fine when you get music stored, until then it's annoying. Second, the on/off/select button (the middle) is hard to distinguish if you have big hands and it can be difficult to tap it just right. Sometimes it goes into bluetooth mode, and sometimes it goes into pause, from pause it basically does nothing and you have to restart. The third, and possibly the most annoying, is that is shuts down if it does not receive a signal. When actively listening, this is not an issue, but these are not recommended if you pause the music or are using on a conference call, as they will shut down while you're speaking after 5 min.

Not recommended at all, better options exist.
An absolute nightmare product compared to Shokz OpenSwim: 1. Much heavier. 2. In MP3 mode, copying files takes a much longer time. 3. The iPhone app does not connect to the device, while Shokz is a delight to use. Apparently, it is a common problem, not specific to me. 4. Its pouch is much worse. Shokz's pouch is designed for wet conditions, while H2O's is much bigger and not for swimming. I will also update on the sound quality, but for now, Shokz is very good. Pay $30 more and get Shokz. I am returning mine today.

Very good sound quality
For context, I tried almost every brand of bone conduction headphones on this site. Keep in mind that bone conduction headphones will never have the quality that a good over-the-ear headphone or even in-ear earbud can provide. Summary: Best audio quality, for a high price Sound quality: excellent for bone conduction, rich and warm and full. Can feel buzzy at loud volume. Comfort: not quite as comfortable as shokz, but not bad Battery: good - never tested to exhaustion. Call quality: good Overall quality: very good Controls: always started in mp3 mode, couldn't figure out how to change that and it was kind of annoying Bluetooth: easy to pair to multiple devices, performs well Other: came with the best case

Only for swimming and music stored within.
I returned these, and I normally don't return anything. Here's why. My use case is just bluethooth headphones that I use to listen to music or watch videos from my phone. These don't work well for that purpose. Here is something I didn't know that might help you. You cannot use bluetooth while swimming. The instructions say you can only use the on board music. The headphones always turn on to play music files loaded onto the headphone's internal storage. You have to double click a tiny little button in between two other tiny buttons to swap to bluethooth mode. You have to do this every time you turn these on, which is often because they turn themselves off quickly. But, you will screw this up because you will try to do this too soon or think you didn't succeed and try again when you actually did succeed. I asked the manufacturer for a way to default to bluetooth mode upon startup. They said they would send me a configuration file and later withdrew this offer. Next, I bought these because people said these had superior sound quality. These were not as good as my AfterShokz. And lastly, these were not as comfortable as my AfterShockz. They were more rigid and felt like they weren't shaped correctly to fit my head. This might be better for active exercise like swimming, but is not good for sound quality or comfort. I think these are only really fit for swimming applications. You will have to load your music file onto the headphones. In this situation, these are perfect. Everything else, I advise against these.

Too big for female head
Quick delivery. H20 Audio new for me/ swim laps. (Have used another swim mp3 player for 10 year. ) H20 Audio comes in one size - too big for a woman's head. Difficulty getting back of headset under swim cap, does not fit close enough to the scull. Cannot wear over swim cap, back drops down to neck /irritates when swimming. Audio quality good when the ear piece stays in position. Position a moving problem due to headset too big. Easy set up/ transfer music from PC.

Nice
Awesome. The Bluetooth works well for swimming laps as an old lady above water. Can answer phone calls too.

Good, but watch the charging unit. It was returned.
It was good until 6 months later the magnetic charging unit broke, tried everything as advised. Nothing worked , very disappointed, will now have to start all over again.
