I love my coffee cup so much, it is very insulated and keeps my coffee cold, and does not let my coffee leak, it is the perfect size for my coffee and it’s really good, i love the lid, it screws on tight, and it stays together really nicely and won’t get damaged easily, it is a great price, super reliable, and won’t break at all, i love this cup so much, also i love the colors, it is really nice, and it just makes my coffee taste 100% better. My coffee won’t leak, and the lid is super durable.

I had been wanting a new travel coffee mug for work for some time. I have always used the same brand for many years and have liked it quite a bit. I had found that despite the old brand saying it was leak proof, I had an occasional leak of coffee in my bag when I would throw it in there. So, I decided to make a change and try the Owala Slider. My kids have Owala water bottles and like those quite a bit so I thought I would give this brand a try. Not to mention, they have darling designs! I like the design and colors available. I did not get a chance to really look at this item in a store prior to ordering online.The cup is quite a bit bigger than I anticipated it would be upon arrival. It fits well in my car cup holder but the cup feels quite large in my hands. It is also heavier than I anticipated it being. It also has a square/round shape. All these factors lead to me finding it more difficult to grip and hold than my old cup. Maybe I am just used to the weight/style of my old brand. This will take some getting used to.When it came in, I gave it a good washing and watched the video online on how to take apart the lid for deep cleaning. The problem is, I could not get my lid apart. I am sure this is user error on my end but I could not get the button on the top to snap off and when you have to keep trying you start feeling worried that you will break it. I gave it a try and washed it as well as I could. I will have to keep working on cleaning it.It kept my coffee warm enough for my commute to work. Having to slide the button to close it when I did not want to be drinking it was a bit of a pain so I would leave it open during the commute and I think this led to some temperature loss compared to my old brand of cup. I did test the cup by closing it and then holding it upside down. I did not see any leaking. The design of the cup provides for smooth sipping.Overall, this Owala works well for my commute needs, I think I need to get used to it. I don't know that it is at all superior to other brands of commuter coffee cups out there and for the price of this one, you may want to look around. I think this was a bit expensive compared to other cups out there - I know my old brand was not this much. You might find greater value in other brands - will they be this cute? Probably not, but they may work better for you depending on your situation.
