Just arrived, so haven't worked with them yet, but I have put them on. They are large and give good coverage of the knee area. The outside is made of hard plastic = relatively easy to wipe clean; although the plastic is moulded into a ribbed pattern, so may need a brush if earth etc clings to them. When kneeling on the floor they cushioned well.The wide straps can be attached straight around the back of the knee, or crossed over to form an X shape behind the knee. I think the latter may help them from sliding down.These pads are slightly more expensive than some others, but I think they are worth the price paid.When attaching the straps you find that they can be adjusted to your size and from then on just hooked into place. Good design. However, the hard plastic front is attached to a padded nylon part that cushions the knee. The bottom part has good space to hook the eyelet to, but the upper part is too close to the hard plastic and I found it difficult to attach this upper part. So, I twisted the strap so the curved eyelet was the reverse way and could then easily attach (although one strap is then twisted. Will have to see if that irritates when I use them.First impressions? I am pleased. A good buy.

After 12 years of professional gardening I've been through quite a few knee pads and must say these are far and away the best I've had.They are an excellent size and very solidly built, however your knee nestles really comfortably in the padding, some of the pads I've tried are really solid and the knee rolls out easily. These stay in place on the front of the knee no matter what.The fixings seem really secure, clip together well and hold firm.I had one slight problem, but having emailed customer service one evening, I had a reply and resolution by 8.00 the following morning.I have no hesitation in recommending these knee pads - they might be a bit dearer than you can get in B & M but I think they will last a lot longer and provide better protection. (That's my own view, not medically supported!!)

Good solid well padded knee pads. Found they could be worn in conjunction with knee straps/braces with no problem and no real restriction of movement. Marked down from five stars on durability potential. The pads are good themselves, but the buttons onto which the holding straps fix are a bit flimsy. One caught briefly on something as I passed and flew off. Luckily, it was in a place I was able to find it and although it would not stay on if screwed back, a dab od superglue sorted it. Other than that, good product.

Have now used these knee pads and am very pleased with my purchase. Not only were they good value; they are easy to fit and provide excellent protection to the knees. So much easier and safer than moving a kneeling pad around as you work. They stop your knees getting wet and are comfortable to wear when standing and walking. I used them for kneeling on paving slabs as I worked along a path and felt no discomfort at the end of the day. They show no signs of wear and look as if they will last a long time. Great product!

Great comfort, however the metal fastener/ button come off to easy, lost both on one knee pad and one on the other, now having to use duct tape to hold knee pads in position, as for heavy duty use in groundwork’s I would not recommend,

Wish I had got a pair of these knee pads ages ago, they have made a tremendous difference to my time in the garden.My knees are certainly not what they used to be, and neither are my hands but they were so easy to put on and stay in place as long as I need them to.The gel insides really cushion the knee and the tough, durable exterior withstand the gravel and stone borders that I forever seem to be weeding!Very comfy, highly recommended.

Comfortable pads but very bad quality for the straps. After one week brake already

I have worn these for a few days doing patio work. Gels pads really do soften impact of kneeling while the outer shell appears to be resistive to wear and tear on abrasive surfaces. Straps adjust easily and do not ease off with bending and are comfortable on my legs. So far these seem to be well made and comfortable and well worth the price.
