Does it's job
We have been using our Ring doorbell for a year now I think and it is doing a great job. I love that it is rechargeable and it doesn't take that long to charge it back up and it lasts for quite a while. It is easy to disconnect it from the wall with the tool that came with it, and the initial installation and setup via the Ring app were simple as well. It has great picture quality, and I would recommend this brand of doorbell. As for the Chime box that came in this set, I am not as happy with but also, I think I was expecting more out of it. I find the Echo speakers that I have all around my house do a better job at announcing someone is at the door than the chime does. I think that if I didn't have an echo device in every room then the Chime box would probably get better reviews from me. I guess I could just say that I didn't need the chime but didn't know that until after I tried it out.

Reliable

The ring doorbell is a great way to deal with persistant solicitors who can't read signs
I have not installed this yet as I'm waiting for the Chime to arrive. I installed a hard wired Ring doorbell at my son's house and it works great. I have Ring cameras as well. I have not doubt this will work great as well.

Great for convenience and security
I’m an invalid. I couldn’t answer the door quick enough. I can see who is at the door and tell them to come in. Perfect. It also tells me when my packages are delivered.

Too many false alarms, dark animal CATS.
Ok, u now get awoken by every squirrel opossum rabbit fox and CAT that walks near/ on my property. Adjusted ZONES so every car truck delivery van doesn't wake me. Gotta be a better solution. Raindrops blur image.

ring great, chime not really needed
easy to set up, I wire connected instead of my old ring bell. Motion detection is good.
